Hi. I've just resently returned to Harpoon Classics Ultimate Edition. I made a new installation and the latest patch I could find ( v2015.027). I tried to edit an existing scenario, but when I try to save the scenario I keep getting this message "GetMemAnnexA Error: !IS_DISK(0 [0x0]) = 1698128 This message has been logged. G'day all, I've decided to dust off my Harpoon Commanders Edition and get back into the fray. Kicking myself for not upgrading to Harpoon Ultimate when it was on sale so patiently waiting for the next one so in the meantime I'm still on HCE. Is the recommended upgrade path for HCE : Go from 2009.50 to the latest beta? Also I'm not sure if this is due to my version but I can't open any of the EC2003 battleset's. I get a variation of "Unable to open resource file E:\HarpoonCE\hdsh.rsr" depending on the battleset (that's the GIUK one). Reinstalled from scratch but no change to the above error. Thanks

Dear friends: After years I have reinstalled the HUE. But since I have another operating system, Windows 7 64, I am running into some problems. One of them, in HUCE, is the Staff officer window. I can't see all the information and I don't have access to the options it offered you. I've tried changing the desktop resolution, but nothing. It is the only defect that I find, the rest seems to be going well. Is there any solution? Sorry if this doesn't go here. Thanks.

Hello, at what rate does an aircraft consumpts fuel depending on the speed? At cruising speed it consumpts fuel at a 1:1 rate. What about military speed and afterburner speed?

Just purchased it again and thought I'd say Hello! Have it installed and just familiarizing myself again with the game and its changes. One question - Do I need to install the updates listed for the game or are they included in the new purchase install package? Are the ECM jammers cumulative? For example, we can have a Su-27 Flanker with two SPS-170 ECM jammers of +10 DATA each one. If we arm a Flanker with two SPS-170 can we get a total DATA of 10+10=20?

What is the range for terminal guidance flag? How many nautical miles? Does it depends of the range of the weapon?

I am trying to run a scenario that says it i running version 7 and my game is version 6. I use to remember how to fix this, but i no longer remember. Thoughts?

Specifically, the one that was posted here? The download link just fetches an empty 0KB file. Seems like a nicely done mod for a little bit more modern scenarios. It's too bad the author is no longer active here nor on the Matrix Games forums, otherwise I would have contacted him directly.

I'm sorry if this issue was raised before, but I tried using the forum search and didn't find anything. Why was the dark water color option changed from Harpoon 2003 v16b3 to 2015-027? The old dark vs. The new dark Am I the only one having trouble with distinguishing blue force icons on this newer dark blue water hue? The light color option is far too bright and tiring to stare at for any extended period of time, while this darker option makes the game borderline unplayable when controling the blue side. Hi, I've been using ACCESS-97 data base. However, when I upgraded to Win10, it would not support my ancient version of OFFICE. I have now installed the latest version of OFFICE 365. I don't need ACCESS 365. Microsoft, in their wisdom. only installs in total ( can't take only some components of OFFICE 365). The new version won't use the ACCESS-97 format. The run time software that comes with HCE won't run if a version of ACCESS is already installed. I do use WORD and EXCEL; or I would just uninstall OFFICE 365 Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this conundrum? TIA, Gene Smith

Just happened upon my CD box of Harpoon Ultimate Edition and will be exploring it again. One quick question, will the included Scenarios in the Battle Sets function correctly with the updated HCE Database? Or are the updated HCE Databases only usable with Scenarios created with them? Any advice appreciated.

Short question: do Official Strategy Guides come with any Harpoon releases? Or I need to catch them separately?
