    Desired layout of the forum: We would like to see one thread per user, include all of your wishlist items in that thread. Ideally keep a master accounting of your wishes in the first post of the thread. Feel free to reply to the threads of others, please try not to criticize any requests, these are wish lists after all and with enough code and time, anything is possible. If you agree with someone else's wish(es), also add them to your own thread.     An interesting process going through the wish list forthe last year and a half, reading each and understanding so as to put similar wish items together and thinking about what parts of the total picture they fit. My favourite was "A nice intro video., “it would pump up any noob to the awesomeness of the sim”" as it shows the enthusiasm that keeps Harpoon Classic going so strong. Plenty of 'hits' for multiplayer and logistics and improving IFR, LR air patrols and the poor old staff assistant (try as he might he just isn't appreciated, but really could we do without him???)     Nic's HCE Wishlist In no particular order, so while numbering is used to follow existing guidelines in using wish number to refer to it, you shouldn't assume the earlier ones are the most important to me.     Most of the following are of most use for the computer opponent. 1) When launching aircraft (whether to attack, ferry, or patrol), have a 'launch via waypoint' option. This would, for example, allow you to launch strike aircraft from one base in Scandinavia and hit Keflavik from three different directions. This would be especially useful for having more intelligent attack options for the computer.     Starting this: Update the Scenario Editor. Update to use the same dialog box as the game for the file open/save - isn't that a simple reference/ link update in code? Not s simple - still Scenario Editor - reuse the code for gam for teh group and unit windows- allow user to resize those. Battlesets - Create a new one - center it map on Levant (the L of ISOL) - have it cover easter Med, Persian Gulf, Black Sea, Aegean, Caspian ? If I understand Scenario format correctly - a 2003 scenario for for Med or IOPG would perfectly on in new battleset if renamed, AND all unit are within the new Battleset region.

A screen-reader accessible Formation Editor of some sort. Information on zones of uncertainty, direction of movement, and other cues which are only provided visually. Some kind of textual overview of the map, or at least a way to get required play information from it in an accessible form (probably overlaps with item above.) A way to handle ASW accessibly, or at least direct the searches without requiring the mouse.

    This would be in effect a new type of asset that would be in the ship annex, except it would be a non-moving platform located by the scenario editor. This would be a bunker, another variation of Fixed AD or a fixed missile launcher location (silos?), or other target of interest. The reason why I am suggesting that this would be in the ship annex is that it would need to be found. Once found however, it does not disappear from the display. It could also be attacked by "land attack" flagged munitions. Make those recon assets earn their keep, besides just playing chicken with fighters and SAM's.

    Hello! I've skimmed through some of the wish lists and but not stumbled across (or, at least, recognised) these items elsewhere. But, please accept my apologies if I'm covering old ground. Wish 1 Having detected an and then localised a hostile submarine contact the "Message log" tells me I've detected a submarine contact 00U by Sonobuoy - and because its in a bit of a hurry -its identified as an Akula. All of which is fair enough. However, the Unit window tells me its ZT002 which implies there are at least two other 'bad guys' (ZT000 and ZT001) down there that I ought to be looking for even though I've no other contacts on screen. Were it not for the 'clue…

    I wish there would be an option for actual 5 minutes Ready 5 time. Must have been discussed here somewhere but search comes up empty, so, why is the Ready 5 time 30 seconds actually? I hardly ever use AAW formation air patrols (or ASuW for that matter) these days, it's manual patrols or nothing. (When there is AEW coverage available.) All but the most severe popup threats can be dealt with manual patrols that can get airborne in 30 seconds. I would love the game to be (optionally) realistic in this and "force" me to not ignore formation patrols.

    Here is my wishlist, it only has one item: Online Multiplayer for HCE!!!! And I want to ask anyone in this forum to please include MP in their wishlist and think what priority it should have with respect to other wishes. But in doing that, please don't take into account the assumed programming effort. Just assume you can ask for anything... where does MP stand in your list? I am the best Harpoon player ever, nobody can beat me, I just can't prove it. (Sorry, I don't play against AI!) Jerome

    Aircraft issued a manual 'land aircraft' order should default to their home/launching base. Player can manually select a closer base if desired.     Hello, I have a new idea for a new tool. There could be a limit to the number of radar guided missiles an aircraft can manage. The limit could be adjusted to 1, 2, 3... or whatever you like. This is like the targets a ships can manage. When a radar guided missiles activates its terminal guide then the aircraft can launch another missile again. IR missiles like Sidewinder or Alamo B/C can be launched the number you want up to the limit. There would be no limit to AGM missiles a plane can manage.

    First Post 1. Long Range ASW patrols to be improved, say by setting an area and the ASW plane flies around dropping bouys. It is slightly annoying to fly a plane out to a long contact by sosus or something like that, and have the still viable contact drop off, leaving you to either manually search with dropping sonobouys, or have to just route the plane around the area hoping to pick up a MAD contact. Add a Mid-East battleset - suggest 20° E to 70° E Long by 10° N to 40° N latitude. This would provide one battleset as opposed to the current split of the volatile MidEast into two battlesets. 3.
