An interesting process going through the wish list forthe last year and a half, reading each and understanding so as to put similar wish items together and thinking about what parts of the total picture they fit. My favourite was "A nice intro video., “it would pump up any noob to the awesomeness of the sim”" as it shows the enthusiasm that keeps Harpoon Classic going so strong. Plenty of 'hits' for multiplayer and logistics and improving IFR, LR air patrols and the poor old staff assistant (try as he might he just isn't appreciated, but really could we do without him???) As a long-time Harpoon "Classic" player and current HCG player (can't seem to obtain HCE yet ), here are my wishlist items: 1. Ability to automaticically send refueling tankers to join in-flight air groups - at any point in their flight. 2. Ability for tankers to dispense multiple refuels - if they have adequate stores 3. Ability for tankers themselves to be re-fueled - where applicable 4. Unrep for surface and sub groups - similar to refueling for air groups, but for armaments 5. First Post 1. Long Range ASW patrols to be improved, say by setting an area and the ASW plane flies around dropping bouys. It is slightly annoying to fly a plane out to a long contact by sosus or something like that, and have the still viable contact drop off, leaving you to either manually search with dropping sonobouys, or have to just route the plane around the area hoping to pick up a MAD contact. Perhaps add a new order, after you use it will have the plane automatically drop sono-bouys for the rest of the plotted course. 2. Aircraft issued a manual 'land aircraft' order should default to their home/launching base. Player can manually select a closer base if desired. Ability in the course editor to toggle the AI Task Force 'chase' ability on or off, so that the player can determine if the AI has the autonomy to engage targets of opportunity or remain on its assigned course. I wish there would be an option for actual 5 minutes Ready 5 time. Must have been discussed here somewhere but search comes up empty, so, why is the Ready 5 time 30 seconds actually? I hardly ever use AAW formation air patrols (or ASuW for that matter) these days, it's manual patrols or nothing. (When there is AEW coverage available.) All but the most severe popup threats can be dealt with manual patrols that can get airborne in 30 seconds. I would love the game to be (optionally) realistic in this and "force" me to not ignore formation patrols.

Begins and ends with online play. the scenarios in HCE are interesting, but the bottom line is the AI should never beat you,and the AI should definitley NEVER beat you the second time through a scenario. As a result, the game has a finite amount of playability. Like many other games, one will gain experience, "beat" the game, and then lose interest. Online play changes all that (just ask the folks running the Call of Duty franchise). It seems ironic to me that ancient AOL could host HC in 1991 and 1992, but we cant this going in 2010?? What would it take to make this happen??

It's hard to believe I've made no wishes since the last wish list condense in 2011. But here we go... 1\ In PE the exported database file having a name other than the std database name, or better the ability to name the database file or place it in a selected folder. just to make it easier (?) import and export from the same folder as the executed PFBuild file. 2/ In scenario Editor an indication of the lat and long of a selected unit or lat and long of a mouse click position in the group or unit window. 1. Allow one or more additional range bins in the formation editor and increase the maximum range in the formation editor from the current 255 nm. 2. 1 - Better and more automated AI routines for plotting ASW searches and sonobouy drops, types of attack on surface targets. Basically outlining to the AI what you want it to do and it then makes its own courses and decisions on how to carry out that order. For example expand the attack order so that there a few types of attack that the AI can plot *pop up* *pincer* *offset* etc etc. Also with regards to ASW you can tell it to do MAD runs and it will plot them or sonobouy drops and it plots them it a pattern you can specify, or of your own choice from a list. 2 - Time delays for ships changing course. What i would like to see changed in HCE 1. Gun behaviour, spreding the bursts over 1 minute 2. Smarter SAM and AAA Handling 3. Hello, I've been playing HC97 since 1998. But as a military wonk, dismayed by numerous odd load outs and degrading of units in the battlesets. For instance differing Mig-21 units curiously missing their natural AAW load out. B-57's! My lord, by the load out they are nearly useless. No reference at all to various guns and rockets they typically used, much less the insanely low bomb load in the game. No word some actually used AS.46 missiles in their careers. But there are others too. Is their a way to edit these load outs? I have the scenario editor, but would dearly love to modify these clearly biased units. Thanks

Hello, I would like to have a tool that allows to switch to afterburner speed and high altitude when the air unit is targeted by enemy air to air missiles. Like the message that allows an intercepting unit to increase speed to military speed when intercepting an enemy objetive. Why? Missiles has an improved ATA of 30% when targeting targets with a speed lower than 1000 knots. So if the objetive has an speed of 1000 knots or more the enemy missiles hasn't got the 30% bonus.

Here is my wishlist, it only has one item: Online Multiplayer for HCE!!!! And I want to ask anyone in this forum to please include MP in their wishlist and think what priority it should have with respect to other wishes. But in doing that, please don't take into account the assumed programming effort. Just assume you can ask for anything... where does MP stand in your list? I am the best Harpoon player ever, nobody can beat me, I just can't prove it. (Sorry, I don't play against AI!) Jerome
