Attached is a save of mine HCDB-081124 South Africa battleset. To see the errant behavior load up the save in 2009.008 and ask ANA to attack ZZC. Fire a missile or two at the helicopters in the carrier group and you should get a prompt to close range (something like, Sir, our attack range is 80nm, distance to target 57nm, should we close and attack?).     This build is reverted back to the status of 2008.068 and then selected fixes from later builds were applied. Please retest all of the items in this post even though many were already verified. I'll work thru marking previously fixed and now unfixed items as such over the coming week. In other words, you should no longer see land units with flooding. - Chg:B084 GE ASW helicopters want to (errantly)close after firing last torpedo. The fix isn't ideal but it does address the issue.     Our shot at having a demo version has arrived. Just like ANW has a USNI demo, we will have a similar arrangement. Demo version of the game with... USNI BattleSet rebuilt. The present plan is for Brad to whip up the database and I'll re-craft the scenarios. At Rene's behest I examined his database (turns out the wrong one) and decided it wasn't the way to go for this project though the offer was much appreciated.     I was playing a user scenario from GIUK EC2003. In the saved game "NOGO", Blue airgroup BQA is attacking Red subgroup ZXV north of Iceland. BQA will release its final torpedo on target. The Staff Assistant will announce that BQA is out of torpedoes; return to base Y/N? Select "Yes" and the group will loiter; select "No" and the group will leave. This happened on both the Vista and XP machines. NOGO.zip

    I've noticed that screen animation of group movement stops at any level above 1 Min. The game still seems to progress at the higher levels, and the game clock runs, but at the higher levels, all symbol movement freezes, and then the symbology will jump if compression level is changed, either up or down. I'm also still getting the world famous "Not Responding" when using the mouse at any level above 5 Min., although keyboard commands are not affected. Buddha

If you type in a speed faster than Cruise with Cruise selected and click OK, the throttle setting will be kicked up to Military (or AB if appropriate) if the aircraft has such a speed available.     Seeing absolute silence since the open beta started isn't my idea of an improvement So I'll help you out a little bit, there is a problem (2009.007) re-assigning aircraft missions (probably any intercept ship/sub/air). Once a plane group is told to intercept a certain group it is very difficult in many cases to assign that plane group to attack different target or otherwise change tasks. What is needed: 1. Test scenario of the situation (small, tiny,...) 2. Saved game with planes in the air ready to have a new target assigned. 3. Instructions on recreating the issue. 4.     OK guys...here it is...Scen-Zilla. I'm not releasing this in the general public forum yet because I really need to know a few things due to its size. This one needs a real, thourough test please, what I need you to look for are the following. 1. Scenario can run on your computer. If it does not RAM and processor speeds would be helpfull for tweaking decisions. 2. Obvioulsy that all victory conditions for the player can be met. I am personally going to play through as red to check the AI's conditions (they may get eased up some). 3. Do ships run aground? I've moved some of them and while I can't control how the AI uses its ships, I should at least have it …
