Just uploaded a revised GIUK USNI battleset at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?a...post&id=599, unzip it into your USNI install. This has an updated database and revised versions of both Red and Blue Convoy scenario.

 

I'll be working on the orders tweaks later today.

Okay, new build uploaded, 2008.059. USNI #1 thru #3 more than ready for testing. This is also a release build so you can test the 'protection' mechanisms. You shouldn't be able to load a user scenario, shouldn't be able to substitute other battlesets, etc.

 

I widened the platform display just enough so the classnames in HCUS and HCDB shouldn't be wrapping anymore. Also tweaked the orders and scenario listing to make them a little prettier.

See the second post in the thread for a new full installer. I would suggest to everyone but Brad to uninstall your existing copy if you have one, then install from the full installer. It would be good to test the USNI #4 and #5 scenarios and they've seen the fewest miles. Counts towards your beta testing requirements if you post up some useful notes.

 

I do know at a very minimum the credits page needs to be updated and we're still hoping for a USNI specific splash screen.

For what it's worth Tony, the Time Compression/Not Responding problem I've been having with HCE seems to be absent from the USNI demo.

Bump for 2008.068 with expiration pushed out to Feb 15th. No particular testing needed but it does have a new escort jamming model to replace the old (way too powerful) one.

That one is almost expired, look for a newly updated demo this week with (cross your fingers) that doesn't expire for a year.

The next demo needs some testing in the next oh, 24 hours <_>

 

You should see some semi-funky scrolling ads along the bottom of the HC window. That is part of the deal to have it not expire for a year instead of every month.
