HCE - 2008.057 ============== - Chg:0000 SE In all previous SE releases when a LR air attack/ferry/patrol was deleted, any repeat event associated with that event was not deleted. In other words until this build it was impossible to fully delete a Long Range air event. The repeat events now show in the orders display for the launching platform. Editing the repeat events may cause problems, only delete them or leave them alone, do not try to edit them. Version .025 - Scenario Editor Error: 1. Create a group and a path with more than 1 waypoint and the 2. Orders2/alternate path and create an alternate path at a waypoint (and give it more than 1 waypoint too) and give it say 65% probability and click OK 3. Select the 65% alternate path entered and click edit 4. Orders2/alternate path and create an alternate path at one of the waypoints and give it say 33% probability. When you click OK to the 33% alternate path you'll then get window asking you to click OK/cancel for the linked prior 65% alternate path (created in #2 above). When you click OK or cancel you'll get an error window and crash to desk top.

First of 2 bugs found in SE. This one causes the orders menus to become disabled in SE if you clear a course in course editor after issuing attack commands. Repeatable: Always 1. Create a new scenario with a blue base and a red surface or sub group. 2. Activate the group and choose orders > enter course. 3. Enter 1 or 2 legs of the course, then click F1 to bring up the attack menu. 4. Order the group to attack the blue base. 5. Clear the course and close the course order editor, at this point all orders menus will be greyed out and unselectable, even with hot keys. Database authors should update their pfData files with the new loadout type distribution.

We've had a couple of situations now where Victory Conditions have a ship/sub subtype that is not even in the scenario. I need someone to take charge of the situation and tinker with a database to see what effect changing the subtypes has on scenarios already created with the database. General suggested procedure: Make a scenario, use both type and subtype in various VCs, note the type/subtypes you used in which VCs. Modify the database by editing the lVictoryType table for VCs in your scenario. Modify the database by editing the lPlatformSubTypes table for VCs in your scenario. Hi all, I am looking at what I think is one of the toughest arty tasks to do with the graphics folder and that is the staff assistant! Not just because I cant draw people at all!! But because he is probably the most recognised face of Harpoon Classic. Everyone has a love hate relashionship with him.... So I give you some new surroundings for him! I personally like the new surroundings for him, im not likely to ever be able to replace the staff assistant himself (Because like I said I cant draw people), but if someone has any ideas I would be more than happy to pursue! I´ve played Ralfs Pason I several times form blue and red. But always ma subs catch torpedos from the AI but i get seldom even a yellow contact.... And this makes me wonder if others observed similar behaviour.... It feels as if AI subs are harder to detect for the player than player subs for the AI

As Akula just had to note today damaged subs do not surface in our fine game. The H3 paper rules state on page 44 (rule 7.2.2.2, When a sub is reduced to 25% of its original DP (75% damage for those math whizzes out there), must surface and remain surfaced until it has repaired half of its critical hits and has more than 25% of its damage points left. In a campaign game, the submarine must go hom, avoiding all combat if possible. I propose that with that much damage we force the suckers to the surface and leave them there to rot. Suggestions welcome.

This bug happened because a variable used in figuring out where the player clicked on the map wasn't being initialized to zero.
