When it first came out back in 1996 or so, it was unplayable on the machines of that time. Fortunately, modern hardware makes playing even very large scenarios possible. This version is my interpretation of this complex scen. It is playable one side only - the Russian/Soviet side. Many pooners favor playing Us side because of the rich inventory and their beloved carriers. In this scenario you will lack nothing: the carrier is in, tons of modern Russian aircraft, their best subs. Since the map is very large, this one is like a good game of chess: you can shift the battle from wing to another, play around your opponent and so on. I´ve started to post my Harpoon 3.6 scenarios here since I think some guys will buy the Ultimate Edition, detect their love for Harpoon 3 V 3.6 - and stick to it. Those scens were usually written with the db2000 which can be found at warfaresims.com. Regards, Ralf

I didn't read anything in mack's post that insulted any particular nation. Moreover, posts about sports - and the feelings or opinions they may invoke - are not generally to be taken as insults. They should be taken in stride, as it is part and parcel of the sport and the fans, imho. You´re right, Brad. You could learn a lot about good sportsmanship and losing in style from the Brits. Seldom read such a blatant nonsens regarding soccer analysis and mixing it up with worldwide conspiration theories against the Australia soccer team. Australia simply is no soccer nation right now. Maybe one day it will be one. I hope it will have fans with a feeling for faiplay by then, who don´t insult other nations. Sorry, normally not my style but this post was an insult.

HI Brad, hehe... Yes, I´m very impressed of the US soccer team. They have become a soccer middlepower in only 15 years and that is extraordinary. Congratulations to our American friends! England vs. Germany...that´s really kinda ...specific. Before each game the British (mud) press declares war on Germany and instantly our (mud) press reacts in a similiar way. But in fact we all know: The Brits are our friends, the mother nation of soccer and we deeply respect each other. Only thing is that they have a soccer complex regarding us and thus lose 9 out of 10 games. Ralf

Hi wizard, Regarding the signature function I cannot give an answer since I´m no AGSI official. You should ask that at the Matrix forum where AGSI representatives will answer you. I think that a kind of security for databases is necessary due to the ongoing copying of original content for years. The db2000 (editor: Ragnar Emsoy) as well as the HUD (editor: Darren Buckley) had been ripped and this copied stuff became the backbone of another database. If you are interested in this sad story, read the threads at Matrix, read what Darren or, much earlier the HarpoonHQ (nowadays Warfare Sims) staff had written. But don´t waste too much time on this crap, enjoy your Harpoon, using original stuff. As to my Pason battleset - yes, you´re perfectly right. Pason shall and will help you to understand the game. I´ll find the 3.9.4 version (for HUD 3) and post it here. With 3.10 there will be a complete update (for HUD 3) of the battleset and I have Pason 8 ready and 9 under development. Best Regards, Ralf
