I am using 3.9.4 and the 2009-06-12 HUD3 (as its own database separate from the HUD3 that ships with Harpoon). EDIT: I understand after a lot more reading that this has to do with the DB/Scenario signatures. I'm wondering what build you used to make the scenarios. I am wondering if the fact that the program reports "3.9.4.0 release version" has anything to do with the incompatibility (i.e., the extra ".0"). Any suggestions? The 3.9.0 PASON set (1-3) work fine for me with the default HUD3 that ships with Harpoon. Thanks in advance.
June 25, 201015 yr Author Hi wizard, I've made the battleset author aware of your query. My thanks! This happens since I updated the battleset with an 3.10 beta, thus it doesn´t run any longer under 3.9.4. My fault, sorry. I look for the old 3.9.4 versions and post them here. Otherwise you´ve to wait for 3.10. release. Sorry for any inconveniance.
June 25, 201015 yr Dumb question: In all the posts on the topic of the DB signature issue, not one person mentioned "configuration management" or "source control". Instead I read a lot of complaints about losing scenarios irretrievably. Has this lesson been learned yet? I gravitated to the PASON scenarios as the next step beyond the tutorials. The tutorials taught me how to use the game interface. PASON is teaching me how to play the game. I'm very much looking forward to playing through the full set, and I thank you for putting them together.

You should ask that at the Matrix forum where AGSI representatives will answer you. I think that a kind of security for databases is necessary due to the ongoing copying of original content for years. The db2000 (editor: Ragnar Emsoy) as well as the HUD (editor: Darren Buckley) had been ripped and this copied stuff became the backbone of another database. If you are interested in this sad story, read the threads at Matrix, read what Darren or, much earlier the HarpoonHQ (nowadays Warfare Sims) staff had written. But don´t waste too much time on this crap, enjoy your Harpoon, using original stuff. As to my Pason battleset - yes, you´re perfectly right. Pason shall and will help you to understand the game. I´ll find the 3.9.4 version (for HUD 3) and post it here. With 3.10 there will be a complete update (for HUD 3) of the battleset and I have Pason 8 ready and 9 under development. Best Regards, Ralf

Best Regards, Kazunori Iriya Hi TonyE, Thanks a lot, I could manage to generate dsd file and H3ANW loaded the scen accordingly! A couple of questions came up. * "Open .dsd", "Save .dsd" and "About" buttons are disabled. Is it possible to enable buttons and editing the existing dsd file? * File Path value should be relative to SCENARIOS directory i.e. "HUD3 - PASON\" Is it correct? Best Regards, Kazunori Iriya
