I don't think the HCWW will put him any further ahead right now. My initial focus was almost entirely on submarines and a few capital ships. I haven't moved into Pacific theater units much at all. Right but it contains more WWII stuff than any other DB.... So it is the best point to start....

When you play the pason scen from Blue, the subs have no starting speed. And I played it with the HCDB and my 80to95db, so it seems not to be a db issue... I´ll include the pason here in the post for other beta testers to play it... It contains Oberon, 206A, Rubis vs Victor II, Victor III, Oscar II, Charli II It can be played with HC-Euro-DB, HC-80to95-DB and HCDB. ok i have a battleset map for the area but there are no that are listed that are in the area. why is there no NAS Pearl Harbor? I suggest you use the HCWW as a start, when Brads allows you to use it... It lacks the Bases on Hawai, all Carriers and most Planes... Incorporation the Nimitz + it´s planes is rather easy for me(simply copy paste in a special manner), but adding the rest of the missing units will take some weeks. You need the CAS Ship and Plane Annex for the nescessary Data. Maybee you should start with a list of the needed units.... Japanes, US WWII + US Modern. Lot´s oif work for a single scen.... But at least the HCWW DB could benefit from the work.... so it´s no real waste of time, even when the result (scen) would be something like a turkey shoot for the modern units! BTW What i don´t remember did the Nimitz jump trough the time with her escorts? Or as a single ship? I think some japanes subs could bring some taste/salt into the diner... Regards René

The Regulus was more or less a copy of the WW2 Age German V1 cruise missile... with a bad guidance system etc. eve the Regulus II was a weapon of the 50s/60s and the balistic system looked much better in those days.. Harder to defend, more precise etc.

You´re wrong Herman.... Rebuilding them in EC2003 is still an option.... Playing the same game for 10 Years.... I think an update to the most recent version aka HCE won´t hurt.. And i bet buying HCE and rebuilding is the faster way. Cause i don´t believe his wish will ever turn into reality. No thats wrong his wish has become reality => it is called HCE

To what end? Why would you need more than one 'Ferry' loadout, for example? adittional Ferry missions like Cargo Transport... maybee SAR Decoy as ECM Missions Patrol as RECCE Missions ... ... ... I´m using two ASW slots for MCM missions for example

There are lots of guided and unguided missions... could you please sacrify some of them to get more Patrol, Ferry, Decoy and Assault missions? 2 or 3 each? Regards René

Hi Is the distancte to the Horizon a fixed Value in HCE? Or how is it calculated? I found Values around 10 to 20km depending on the high for the observer and a Ship on the Horizon. How does this affect Weapons like SM-1 or SM-2 in surface mode? When i set the Surface range to 0 they get "horizon" as a range in the Platform display...

Try an AEW Helo on a Patrol mission It will launch to medium and stay there until he crashes...

Ok, will test it... Ok there´s a problem with Helos when you switch altitude to med. the Fuel imidiatly goes down to 0%bingo. Returning to low brings backj the old fuel value, for example 96% And Helos on MED crash without returning to base

Hi As Brad stated before, there´s no way around.. A little explanation about my 3 dbs. Their names represent the inservice/outservice dates for the units it the db. So the 65to80 will not contain ships that left service before 1965 and no ships that entered service after 1980. Same for the 80to95 and the 95toxx db. all 3 dbs together cover the time from 1965 to future. but each db covers the whole world. that´s it....

I think when i start the work on the HC-90toxx-DB, there will bee all 3 Verions as long as i get the necessary H4 Data.... No Idea on wich planes the SDB is used at the moment because i concetrated my work on the HC-65to80 and the HC-80to95-DB for the last months...

I´ve played Ralfs Pason I several times form blue and red. But always ma subs catch torpedos from the AI but i get seldom even a yellow contact.... And this makes me wonder if others observed similar behaviour.... It feels as if AI subs are harder to detect for the player than player subs for the AI

Hi Please cut the Side to 3 digits and give the country some more digits so the countys have at least 3 or 4, better 5 digits. With the actual 2 digits for countrs it is a real pain... Regards René
