October 14, 200817 yr I have a question about the dfferent databases. Are they all compatible with HCBB that comes with the game? I installed the latest HC65to95 and it removed most of the more modern platforms. Is there a way around this? Thanks -Tanthier
October 14, 200817 yr I think maybe you misunderstand what they are. The HCDB is the official database for Harpoon Commander's Edition, i.e. it is the database that ships with the game. The HCDA, HC80to95, HC-Euro, etc, etc, are all alternative databases. They are incompatible with the stock scenarios that ship with the game, but may be compatible or designed specifically for other user created scenarios and battlesets.
October 14, 200817 yr I installed the latest HC65to95 and it removed most of the more modern platforms. Is there a way around this? Hi As Brad stated before, there´s no way around.. A little explanation about my 3 dbs. Their names represent the inservice/outservice dates for the units it the db. So the 65to80 will not contain ships that left service before 1965 and no ships that entered service after 1980. Same for the 80to95 and the 95toxx db. all 3 dbs together cover the time from 1965 to future. but each db covers the whole world. that´s it....
