Hi Enrique, I´ve begun playing it. my forces are deployed and now I´m waiting for the Hurricane.

Victory achieved: Sunk 19 ships and downed 93 aircraft. Own losses: 9 aircraft, F-4s. This was a nice battle, Enrique! Some ideas if you want to make it harder: - substitute the Badgers with Backfires. - include a Kiev Class carrier with Yaks and a Slava AAW cruiser in the red group - place some Soviet subs close to Nato´s SAGs - create a second red SAG, centered around a Kirov Class Cruiser which ambushes the blue SAGs

Hi Gunny, are you still active? Is there a new HUD 4 version to be expected?

I cannot open it, game crash. maybe the file is broken, maybe the scenario itself.

...and what about the database? Did you use HUD 4 V 1.3, the latest as of March, 2013?

Hi Enrique, just playing it. First, I annihilated the red base to my South. Now on with my force setup and doing recce jobs. Very interesting scenario!

Have started playing Command. It is awesome, simply amazing. The GUI, the map, the database, the AI, the possible level of micromanagement....outstanding. I can recommend it to anyone wo has played Harpoon or Fleet Command for decades. Besides Command I´m nowadays focused on GCB2, which also has a very good GUI and sharp AI.

Victory! Strange, though, that it was awarded while my ships were full 125 nm away from refpoint no. 4, the target area.

Some hours...and nothing happens. Then, out of a clear blue sky - Torpedo contact! A PRC Romeo SS, lurking in my vessel´s path, is firing at my DD. ASROCs fired...hit and sunk!

Sunk the PRC vessels with Harpoons. Better to have them at the bottom of the sea.

Diving into Part 2 "Luminous Shield". So far I´m successfull with guarding my ships. Established a round-the-clock CAP with tanker Support and downed several Mig-19s and Mig-21s.

Won the first Scenario of this Mini-Battleset. It was Close, though. After I downed six F-6 Farmers and a PRC Romeo Sub, for a long time nothing happened and it looked like an easy win, with the remaining Task just to Keep the DD in the marked area. But a well-timed attack followed: The three PRC Patrol Boats went full Speed and closed in as well as there appeared two H-5 Bombers. When they were confirmed as hostiles they alraedy delivered their bombs and the destroyer was hit. SAMs downed those Bombers and an Orion sunk the three Patrol Boats before they managed to fire a single shot. Some time later, victory was awarded. Nice one, Mark! On with part two.

Mark, just started with the first Scenario. Very interesting concept to shadow the ship and ist escort through a week. Looking forward to play through this mini battleset.

Where to save this file and how is it to use?

Saul was my welcomer in the Internet, back in 1996. His Harpoon Website was the first one I regularly visited. We had Close contact, tested each others Scenarios and so on. He was a friend. RIP Saul

Never play too hastily... Lost two more F-4s, two PGMs and a Sub, and the last Atlantic. Here I resigned. A nice Little one, Mark!

Two F4s down a pair of Floggers, which got one of my F4s in return. Fast and nasty birds, these Floggers.

My scouting Atlantic detects the convoy but is shot down soon afterwards. A pair of Floggers caught it by surprise.

Found and sunk a Soviet Whiskey Class Sub, but lost the PG Theseus, Torpedo hit.

Started playing it. Bagged some Soviet aircraft so far, the PG Theseus has been damaged though. Haven´t located the Soviet convoy yet.

Failed to meet the VC "preserve 24 facilities from being destroyed". Just was not able to stop all those continuous bomber attacks spitting their Kingfish and Kitchen killer Missiles. Can make it a draw, though and will go on fighting. Mark, this one is a marvel!
