Hey im new n just downloaded Harpoon 3 ANW, but i have a problem. I downloaded it n got it but i dont have a serial for it soo if somebody kan point me in the rite direction for the serial generator or kan loan me one i dont knw!!! i just want to play a great looking game lik this!!!!

I have HUCE and installed just the final ANW (3.10 I believe). I installed the update, but when I click on Play, I just get a little error message saying "unknown exception."

Guys in v3.9 and above the KC-135 tankers that start at Clark AFB start with 0 fuel and therefore just crash on take-off? I assume this is a bug? Regards Andy

Am I correct that there isn't much instruction in the manuals for actual game play, just all the warfare theory (which is valuable)? Little problems seem to stop me from playing 'successful' games (IE having fun), my current problem relates to helo ASW game play. I send a helo to attack a sub contact (eg PASON #3 (ASW/ASUW) HUD3 db), it goes so far then hovers outside of the uncertainty area, the unit status window says its 'waiting' but never seems to get a trigger to proceed further. It seems to make no difference as to how I attack, select the helo and use F1, select the sub and use F6, use the mission editor (no shortcut key?), the same result. I can't find any s…

I recently got the ultimate package (thanx to Tony and Don for that), and I've been going through the tutorials to get up to speed on the H3 game and play it. My problem is that in the sub warfare lesson, I flat out can't get my sub to launch a missile. Plenty of torpedoes available, but no SSM's. I've tried all depth, speed, ane headings with no success. I've also attempted the original Harpoon 2 tutorial running with DOSBox with the same results. I'm obviously doing something wrong here somewhere. Any advice, anyone?

Is there a way to determine if enemy radar is active straight from the screen (IE without selecting the units one by one and looking in the detail tab)? In particular I'm in Ralf's Pason wings of steel (#4?) and have considerable problem dealing with HARM attacks. Planes inevitable fly in without loosing off weapons but instead get shot down at about 30 mile from target (which I assume means that some ones radar is working). (Currently using 3.9.4 from UE package.) Don

Just curious...is there any way to model a warning shot? I'm not sure how this would be set up, but is there a way to fire, but deliberately miss, and hopefully scare someone off? I can see some scenarios where you're trying to stay on station and being harassed and you do not know if the ship is a threat or not, but you do not want to sink it...just in case. Or is it assumed that you tried to do that already and now it's just clobbering time. Mark

Which platforms do you really dislike coming up against in this game? For me: * Tu-22M "Backfire". They are scary aircraft.

Yes, I've taken the plunge and acquired Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare. Does this mean that I've switched to the "dark side" and won't be playing Harpoon Classic, building scenarios for it, or continuing work on the HCDB ? Umm, no. Not on your life. The pull of potential multi-player Harpoon action is strong, however, and if it is half as fun as Silent Hunter III has been, it should be a ball. Gimme some time to get up to speed on this new fangled toy, and then I'll be looking to try some MP. Hopefully we can get some AAR's posted up here too.
