May 27, 201115 yr In a rather hectic moment I torpedoed a 'neutral' whale by mistake (it was a 'yellow' unidentified solid contact running from me at about 18 kts while I was 2 mile off his tail having been tracking him at 5 kts for about 20 mins). I expected to get put through the ringer during debrief but got a "you fired at an unidentified contact but it turned out to be enemy-good call" verdict. Some one sure must like whale meat Don
May 27, 201115 yr Hi Donald, It's not only an affair of whale meat. I also saw such with merchant ships Depends on how many important persons you know in the GHQ I suppose. Best regards, FG
May 27, 201115 yr I've done the same Don. Yet somehow when I torpedo a neutral Kilo in an active war zone (come on, is any sub in an active war zone really neutral?) I get strung up. I'm guessing PETA does not endorse ANW
May 27, 201115 yr I'm a very bad person, sometimes in very busy scenarios I kill voluntary a neutral whale to prevent to find it other time as a new confusse neutral contact ....
May 28, 201115 yr Author I've done the same Don. Yet somehow when I torpedo a neutral Kilo in an active war zone (come on, is any sub in an active war zone really neutral?) I get strung up. I'm guessing PETA does not endorse ANW So what's the odds that PETA was in the Kilo, making sure you didn't 'do' a whale? Don
March 2, 201214 yr I've done the same Don. Don Why would PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals)be in a Kilo? They should be in the zodiacs scooping up the floating whale meat
