    After the aircraft weapons launch, I'd like to see a Return To Base button added to the pop-up window, that way you don't have to select the group and manually tell them to return. This would be really helpful if you have more than 1 group launching weapons at the same time.

Area Missions..i would love to be able to set barrier patrols...if HCE had that well i would prob just faint 2. Strike Planner/Editor: This is being bantered about on IRC, and it would make for another great addition. 3. Logistics: The holy grail....unreachable? 4. Ability for 64 bit systems to use the scenario editor: This would go a LONG way in letting the world know that harpoon IS evolving and not going to stay in the past.     Aircraft issued a manual 'land aircraft' order should default to their home/launching base. Player can manually select a closer base if desired. Ability in the course editor to toggle the AI Task Force 'chase' ability on or off, so that the player can determine if the AI has the autonomy to engage targets of opportunity or remain on its assigned course.     As a long-time Harpoon "Classic" player and current HCG player (can't seem to obtain HCE yet ), here are my wishlist items: 1. Ability to automaticically send refueling tankers to join in-flight air groups - at any point in their flight. 2. Ability for tankers to dispense multiple refuels - if they have adequate stores 3. Ability for tankers themselves to be re-fueled - where applicable 4. Unrep for surface and sub groups - similar to refueling for air groups, but for armaments 5.     1 - Better and more automated AI routines for plotting ASW searches and sonobouy drops, types of attack on surface targets. Basically outlining to the AI what you want it to do and it then makes its own courses and decisions on how to carry out that order. For example expand the attack order so that there a few types of attack that the AI can plot *pop up* *pincer* *offset* etc etc. Also with regards to ASW you can tell it to do MAD runs and it will plot them or sonobouy drops and it plots them it a pattern you can specify, or of your own choice from a list. 2 - Time delays for ships changing course.     1. I just want all ASW aircraft able to be placed into a group (without any surface unit). Being able to put a P-3, for instance, in it's own group, set it for asw patrol in it's group zone(s), and send that baby off on it's route. It would make setting up ASW patrols much easier and eliminate having to micro-manage dropping each buoy. I find that I can only really utilize 1 ASW a/c at a time and it requires most of my focus in low time compression. This would eliminite the micro-management in ASW patrols and allow us to command instead of fly.

    Most of the following are of most use for the computer opponent. 1) When launching aircraft (whether to attack, ferry, or patrol), have a 'launch via waypoint' option. This would, for example, allow you to launch strike aircraft from one base in Scandinavia and hit Keflavik from three different directions.     I think that when target speed is slower than 1300 knots there´s a +30% Ph is a modifier too sharp. I wish relative modifiers: If target speed is 0-40% of missile speed: +30% Ph. If target speed is 41-70% of missile speed: +20% Ph. If target speed is 71-90% of missile speed: +10% Ph. If target speed is 91% or higher than missile speed: +0% Ph.     Nic's HCE Wishlist In no particular order, so while numbering is used to follow existing guidelines in using wish number to refer to it, you shouldn't assume the earlier ones are the most important to me.     1. Since I'm not sure how the program handles sonar detection ranges, I'm not sure if this is feasible or not. A mention of predicted MDR for an area somewhere, perhaps in the weather report for the area, would be helpful in planning ASW baroers , patrols, etc. If, as has been suggested, area airborne ASW patrols and bouy fields are implemented in the future, this information will be even more important. 2. Would like to be able to enter reference points. 3. Would like to see a rolling Lat/Long readout tied to the cursor position. 4.     Hello, I've been playing HC97 since 1998. But as a military wonk, dismayed by numerous odd load outs and degrading of units in the battlesets. For instance differing Mig-21 units curiously missing their natural AAW load out. B-57's! My lord, by the load out they are nearly useless. No reference at all to various guns and rockets they typically used, much less the insanely low bomb load in the game. No word some actually used AS.46 missiles in their careers. But there are others too. Is their a way to edit these load outs? I have the scenario editor, but would dearly love to modify these clearly biased units. Thanks

    Seems like everyone's covered most of the things I'd thought of. One more thing though is, I'm not sure how the radar is modelled in HCE, but if it's the same as HC97 there's nothing like terrain masking etc. Probably a real pain to code I'd imagine, but would be nice in terms of asymmetric scenarios in the littoral, or hiding land-based SAMs or targets in valleys etc.
