    I think the old OrdWriter was packed by error in the last release 2009.070, his date of confection is from August 2012, and I think the possibility of add new type caracthers was added in the September version.

    Hi I have made some mods to the RE. Activating/creating two new Statistic Functions allowing to create overvies of the db. (please don´t try to print them (500 sheets of paper! )) But exporting/printing as a pdf works fine. and i added two data fields to the ship and plane screen. Hoping Tony can use them at some time to create a sort by date function for Units in the SE. ATM those fields do nothing except you can enter the inservice date for shipclasses/planes (format month/year-month/year) and you can enter inservice and retiered dates for each single ship. However, periscope, snorkeling, and surfaced subs had broken flags that prevented detection by IR, that has been fixed. - Chg:0000 GE Checked that LLTV flag has an effect and it does. It makes visual detections as if they always happen in broad daylight even in the dead of night.

    I was using both 2021.010 and .012 to play a fairly long intense game and after I'd called a truce and looked of the report from AAR.DLL I noticed that at midnight (game time) the day's date didn't change. I'll write a test scenario to check this out when I get a chance but wanted to mention it incase others had noticed it.

    After four years of being out of date I've revised and uploaded the AARdata tool in the tools/mods section of the downloads. Sorry it's taken me so long This tool writes a txt file to your main harpoon folder AARdata.txt that holds info from the game play since the current file was started, so you can archive your old file (by changing its name or moving it to a different folder) before starting a new scenario and you'll have a record of major occurrences and time for the life of the scenario. I'll now start looking at provide a snap shot of the content of magazines to be included.

  13. Using mouse to choose attack target for attack order issued in course editor causes broken waypoint chain. Repeatable: Yes Step by Step: 1. Create new scenario with blue base and red group. 2. Activate the red group and choose to enter a course. 3. Enter 1 or 2 legs then F1 to attack menu. 4. Mouse click on the blue base. 5. At this point your next leg will use the blue base and the next click wp to form a new course, rather than using the last wp and new wp. Build: 2008.026

    Hello, while testing Brad´s new scen "Foxes in the Henhouse" I found something strange: After I split the sub group, entered a slightly different course and a higher speed for one sub, the subs kept close in the unit window. They separated in the group window, but not in the unit window.

    Now that I have the BS Builder working well on my system, I built a Gulf of Tonkin BS without problem, and am looking at creating some Viet Nam Era scenarios. What I'd like to do is create a navigational reference point for Yankee Station and place it in the scenario. I know reference points are a feature of Harpoon 3, but this is the first time I've tried to do it in HCE. I'd like to find out if it's feasible to possibly create a generic ref. point as a facility in the PE, and then locate it wherever it's needed, similar to a Downed Pilot or Lifeboat for example. Ordinarily I'd just take a shot at this, but since it's so easy to hose up the DB, I was wondering …
