Sea Harrier v French Destroyer
Without looking at the specifics of the rules, I assume there is no issue and certainly no chance for catastrophe because you have 'separation' between launch aircraft and the weapon. You're dropping the weapon, so no issue.

Royal Navy loses one CVF
Any real decision on this wouldn't be taking place under this Government, that's for sure.

The Hunt for The Artic Sea
It will do in the next patch.

ASMP-A in service
Not really- the Russians are upgrading their Topol-Ms and trying to get Bulava to work, while there's plenty of new Chinese stuff.

Quick Questions
Silent Hunter UK is exploring various FSC configurations for a role playing game, you two might bounce ideas off of each other. Tony That I am. I'm developing a C1 version with TLAM and a BrahMos style missile I'm calling Sea Mace. Sounds Nice . What ASW capabilites do you intend for C1? My take is that C1 has the bleeding-edge ASW tech and kit, combined with decent land-attack and surface attack capability, while C2 is meant to be cheaper and not ASW orientated. C2 could be on the same hull but minus the ASW capability- with maybe more TLAM or Sea Mace than C1. I know this has certainly been batted around. Is that your take on it? I assume you intend to give both point defence and some defensive AAW- say 16 Aster. ASW will be a Merlin and on-board torpedoes. As for AAW, I'm looking at 16 Aster 30, 48 (quad-packed) CAMM and 2 Goalkeeper. I might swap Goalkeeper for SeaRAM. My current thinking is for a Type 45-based hull. I'm also planning to have two very small UAVs on board.

Long Track Radar
With an aircraft flying at 8nm a minute, that's four minutes warning. Which may or may not help the SA-6.

Multiple Radars
Depends on the circumstances. You'd probably stick them all on while under attack. On a related topic, where a 3D radar has an SS mode listed separately, what do you use when?

Health Care....?
In UK, it's free to see a doctor. Also: 1. You do have to pay a fixed charge for prescriptions (about £7) unless you're retired or unemployed. 2. The NHS has been known not to allow certain drugs (some cancer ones mostly) to be prescribed on the grounds on the grounds of cost-effectiveness. 3. You aren't permitted to "top up" your care with private medicine, which has caused controversy. 4. The NHS will not fund optional cosmetic surgery. 5. Hospital cleanliness has been a subject of debate recently. 6. The NHS is the UK's biggest employer. Remember our system was created by a government far more left-wing than Obama (but not that left-wing- it authorised the development of British nukes) and is the government providing healthcare rather than health insurance.

Harpoon 5?
It does, thank you.

Harpoon 5?
How compatible will old annexes be with the new game?

Tomahawk question
Yes, of course, especially now that GPS is added to TERCOM (Block III Tomahawks and later). (I should add that Block II onward also have DSMAC (digital scene matching area correlation), so even more accuracy). I was just thinking that you could fool DSMAC by having a hill that could go up and down...
-
Tomahawk question
Yeah, in practical terms it is pretty much the same as 'inertial' guidance. Only more accurate.
-
Tomahawk question
I think you just give it waypoints before launch and let it go about its merry business.

Harpoon 3 scenarios for the PlayersDB
One huge problem with this that makes it impossible- the scenario duration of 2 1/2 hours does not allow you enough time to ready six Yak-141s for ferry range and get to Diego Garcia at cruising speed. Needs to be an hour or two longer. Otherwise, a very good scenario.
-
Tomahawk question
It's not just used by the Tomahawk- the SCALP/Storm Shadow/Black Shaheen family uses it too.

Blackfive - Obama caves on missile defense
It's the latter. Plus there's still a possibility for land-based SM-3s.

Sitrep #31 AAW
Considering much of missile combat is getting the actual lock, I'd say so. Especially with rear aspect only weapons.
