Tony hinted I could a write How To on Issue reporting as "Would you write one?" so I took the hint. I don't think there is much technical novelty to add to the topic (but I will try), Tony said my issue reports were good but all I did is based on the beta guide and the forums here. Hello, while testing Brad´s new scen "Foxes in the Henhouse" I found something strange: After I split the sub group, entered a slightly different course and a higher speed for one sub, the subs kept close in the unit window. They separated in the group window, but not in the unit window.

Torpedoes shouldn't be running normal passive sonar detections. HCE - 2012.002 - 2012/05/16 =========================== - Chg:0000 GE Checked that Infrared detections are attempted and they are. However, periscope, snorkeling, and surfaced subs had broken flags that prevented detection by IR, that has been fixed. - Chg:0000 GE Checked that LLTV flag has an effect and it does. It makes visual detections as if they always happen in broad daylight even in the dead of night.

First of all thank you Tony and testers for your work. I check the forums a couple of times a year and every time I find new patches, new scenarios, new ideas, even now that you are left with no support whatsoever. January 10th I restarted the attempt to make a 32-bit scenario editor based on the current codebase. That day saw the development environment configured well enough to start compiling. Ended up at 39 errors, 667 warnings during compilation. For reference, the program doesn't get to run and go down in flames until there are 0 compilation errors. As you may have noticed, we have a 32-bit SE. The main side effect of that from the programming side is that I no longer have to maintain backwards compatibility with the Win16 API. I can allocate memory in chunks larger than 64kB and pull off all kinds of other "fun" stunts without writing and debugging it all twice. I could even go wild and implement right-clicking, wow . That said, even writing against the Win32 API natively is painful and that is where the GE and SE now reside. After four years of being out of date I've revised and uploaded the AARdata tool in the tools/mods section of the downloads. Sorry it's taken me so long This tool writes a txt file to your main harpoon folder AARdata.txt that holds info from the game play since the current file was started, so you can archive your old file (by changing its name or moving it to a different folder) before starting a new scenario and you'll have a record of major occurrences and time for the life of the scenario. I'll now start looking at provide a snap shot of the content of magazines to be included.
