To use: Extract the files to your ExportDLLs folder then start the game. A separate window will appear. When a base/Installation is destroyed, you can refresh the list of groups on that separate window (the lazarus Turncoat window), select the group, unit, then choose the new side alignment. The unit will be undestroyed, runways re-established, and group's side changed. HC ExportDLL for reviving destroyed Installations and switching the side to which they belong. 2020-06-10 Purpose: for reviving destroyed Installations and potentially switching the side to which they belong. Original Author: Anthony Eischens Contributors: Compiled with: Lazarus 2.0.8 Third party controls: Stratsims OSS shared pascal code https://tarzan.tgp.net:8443/svn/StratsimsOSS/HC/shared/pascal/trunk License: MIT (see License.txt) History: lazTurncoat 20200824 HC 2020.009+ Incremented DLL Version to 1 Incremented DLL Interface version to 23 First version The user should not switch the sides of an installation until it is destroyed. This is to prevent orphaned Harpoon Events and other game structures. If there is enough demand, that limitation could be removed in the future. -

Running different scenario?
Great! The scenario you've chosen should be run with HCDB, not HCDB2. HCDB is the one that comes with the game so if you are reasonably patched up you already had the correct DB loaded.

Running different scenario?
.SCv is the Middle East BattleSet You may have also divined that from the area of Downloads where you grabbed the file. Let us know how you fare! Downloads \ Harpoon Classic/HC/HCE/HUCE \ Scenarios \ Middle East \ Iran-Israel 2010, Survival of Israel ? It sounds like you have it well in hand but if you need a little detour, long ago I recorded a video of loading a user scenario https://youtu.be/4yHAXxGep6w https://youtu.be/4yHAXxGep6w

Reading Weapon Data Line
(R) think Rotary as in spinning barrels. I'm not certain of the rules implications outside of the concept of firing bursts rather than rounds. Perhaps someone else has more information there?

SimPlot - SimPlot2
Windows likes to have code signed executables. I started doing that with Harpoon a couple of years back. https://comodosslstore.com/code-signing/why-ev-code-signing We could work something out for me to sign them, message or e-mail me if you want to explore that option.

SE Screen Magnification
Confirmed here in 2020.008 at various window sizes and zoom levels. A seemingly reliable workaround is to narrow your scenario editor (SE) window until the entire group map doesn't quite fit, then scrolling ability returns.

SE Screen Magnification
Thanks Eric, tough week here so I'm running behind on Harpoon fun!

What version of the game are you using as I'm finding it strange that you can't run the scenario editor (SE)?

SE Screen Magnification
Thanks Eric, what is your screen resolution?

HCE Release Notes
HCE - 2020.008 - 2020-08-01 =========================== - Chg:30471 SE Same fix as GE The ah crap is that this wasn't really fixed in 2020.006 for the Scenario Editor. It is now but as a result the scenario file format needed to be bumped to 6. This leaves scenarios converted to version 4 or 5 from an earlier version in an indeterminate state. In other words they may be corrupted. (thanks Tony)

Scenario stops responding.
SE really fixed this time <fingers crossed> in 2020.008.

Newbie question regarding weapon info
Larry has acknowledged many eagle eyed reporters. He passed along the America's Navy errata (so far) and will be posting an errata document to their site in a week or two when the reports slow down. 24 July 2020 Errata for America’s Navy Page A-25, Belknap class 22 Nov 75 remarks, collision and repair, change “2@5.0A” to “2@5.0A.” Late 70s refit, change "SM1MR to SM1ER." Page A-28, Arleigh Burke Flight III, the Mk41 VLS has a total of 96 missiles, not 9. Page A-28, Arleigh Burke Flight IIA Technology Insertion, change "SQQ-53D" to "SQS-53D" Page A-28, Arleigh Burke Flight IIA Restart, change "SQQ-53C" to "SQS-53C" Page C-1, the US Mk1, 2, 3 40mm/60 is missing the AA data. The gun can reach into the Medium altitude band out to 3.7 kyds, with an AA strength per barrel of 0.25. This value is modified by both the number of guns firing and the combat system of the firing ship. Page J-1, add the SG-2 radar. It is a Gen 1 surface search radar with a range of 22/22/15/9/4.7 nmi. Thanks to Jim Baker and William Seney.

HCE Release Notes
HCE - 2020.007 - 2020-07-23 =========================== - Chg:30480 GE Rafale C in EC2000 GIUK, NACV, and MEDC had a typo in Medium altitude Afterburner of 9696kt instead of the intended 969kts. This has been overridden at GE and SE start. The BattleSet files themselves have not been corrected. (thanks Tony) https://harpgamer.com/harpforum/topic/30480-hypersonic-rafael - Chg:30480 SE Same fix as GE HCE - 2020.006 - 2020-##-## =========================== - Chg:00000 GE Undid the change from 2020.003 as a result of the better change in 2020.005. - Chg:00000 GE Did the TODO for 2020.004 nuclear weapon hit resolution. Now all units that should be damaged or destroyed will be damaged or destroyed. - Chg:30471 GE SpeedAlt events and IntermittentSensor Harpoon events can appear within scenario files, not just saved game files. Since we didn't build the data conversion into scenario loading, scenarios created before the data structure changes would be corrupt upon loading into the game. As of this build, it is fixed for IntermittentSensor events. For SpeedAlt events, the data structure change happened while the scenario file format was version 3. There were quite a few builds with scenario file format v3 which unfortunately means we have to 100% accurate way to know whether SpeedAlt events need to be converted to load v3 scenarios correctly. We have implemented a best guess algorithm. The good news is that there are few publicly released scenarios with the version 3 format so hopefully the impact is small. If you run into problems, let us know at harpgamer.com as we may be able to recover the scenario and bring it up to current without corruption. Newbie question regarding weapon info
Good point :). I was excited about it potentially being a scenario where the ship started off with a severely limited stock of missiles.
