  2. Working on an upcoming scenario, I see the "advanced" weapon entry 16448 AGM-158C LRASM (IOC B-1B 6/2018, FA-18E/F 11/2019), if equipped with (Historically accurate, apparently) guidance flags "IR/laser guidance" and also "Antiradar", doesn't work if the target is disabled and not radiating! i.e., the IR/laser doesn't work as subsidiary and it's not "targeting". I did change my personal test DB to "only" IR/laser, and works as usual.
  3. Incredible! But just my working hypothesis in the outcoming scenario. Putin knows it's his last stand, and CG Moskva is trapped and a sitting in the Black Sea. Sailing in the med is at least propaganda.
  4. Working on it, but not a clear outcome yet.

This scenario is designed with advanced Scenario Editor and to be run with HCE 2015.008+ or later. This scenario is designed to be played from the Blue/US side or from the Red/Iranian side. You should play a few times first the Blue side to avoid spoilers, and only later play the Red side. Image: The Freedom-variant littoral combat ships USS Wichita (LCS 13), USS Billings (LCS 15), and their embarked aviation detachments, as the in the photo MH-60S, participate in a maritime training exercise in the Caribbean Sea with the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11), July 4, 2021. This exercise marks the first time three Freedom-variant littoral combat ships are deployed and operating together. Sioux City, Wichita, and Billings are deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Marianne Guemo/Released/A serviceperson on duty and in consequence on public domain) This scenario is inspired by the "Pasdaran Swarm Attack" by Chris Carlson published in Harpoon Naval SITREP 61. With the world centred early 2022 on the Russian menaces to Ukraine anything can happen the next months. The deployment of Freedom-class LCS in the Persian Gulf for late 2022 was announced January 2022. This scenario is simple on its planning and execution, but perhaps difficult to master. US ships steam near the Saudi east coast, protecting the sea lanes in the Saudi territorial waters, while waiting for a probably Iranian harassment attack with minor and irregular units. Because the complex world crisis land-based air (Or other type) support is not expected, as Gulf countries negate its bases use in this action for no irritate Iran. At last the LCS are alone on first line of battle, just what they were not designed for. Enrique Mas, January 30, 2022. Submitter broncepulido Submitted 01/30/2022 Category Middle East

  7. Just in my personally modified DB Mirage 2000 have ground attack enabled 30mm DEFA guns. In the POLARIS 21 scenario they try to gun the Charles de Gaulle CSG with very bad outcomes!!! (Clearly I've disabled now that capability in my personal DB).

From the eventful year of 2014 the World was beginning the so-called Second Cold War, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin (ex-KGB lieutenant colonel) was showing clearly his plan to recover the Russian Empire including previous Soviet territories for reinstitute the greatness of his Russia, and to guarantee his passage on the History as saviour of the Rodina. And meanwhile, more towards Far East a less perceived and gradually growing problem was China, as reflected in the transfer of the 60% of the USN and USAF combat forces to the Pacific Theatre of Operations from 2012, move completed by 2020. At last, from November 25 to December 3, 2021, was developed the exercise POLARIS 21, acronym for Preparation Operationnelle en Lutte Aeromaritime, Resilience, Innovation et Superiorite (Operational Preparation on Antisubmarine Warfare, Resilience, Innovation and Superiority). It was a mostly French exercise, but centred on a NATO near future all-out confrontation with a near-peer enemy. Both sides reflect the exercise historical limited resources of its respective orders of battle, with slight modifications for playability. Despite I'm the author, could say is a replayable, fun and balanced scenario, and as in the real life both sides have many paths to victory. Of course this is a training exercise and actual shots, torpedoes and missiles aren't fired and nobody is hurt ... Enrique Mas, December 19, 2021. 15. F-35 are slower than usual fighters CLEAN, but probably not when as usual a conventional fighter is not clean.
  16. Related from many itinerations ago, but I've never mentioned it because is cumbersome and difficult to reproduce (And I know TonyE does not use autoformation patrols): 1.- Not programmed patrols in ship formations, usually extra ASW patrols too near and in too small formation sector near the formation nucleus. Also with helicopters in Assault loadouts (as AEW patrols), not present if loadouts are previously changed in the scenario Editor to Ferry or Cargo. 2.- Autopatrols shoot down, both human player but mostly IA, are not repeated, or repeated after a very very very long interval, but obviously in both cases the sides have available helos or airplanes to reproduce instantly the patrols (Clearly at the scenarios begins).
  17. Just played some 1 day and 9 hours of playtime with these results (See photo), but now I see are not specific victory conditions. Fun and intense scenario, thanks for sharing.
