Kaman (Late) and PTM Houdong entries in the HCDB cause a crash if you attempt to look at their weapons load. This appears to be caused by the name of the mount CSS-N-8 Saccade (YJ-82/C802) Twin and the fact that the vessels have two such mounts that are grouped together. When only one mount appears, there is no problem. At a guess, the problem is with either the Syntax, length of the mount name, or a combination of both Work-Around Solution: Shortening the Mount Name to "CSS-N-8 Saccade (YJ-82) Twin" appears to eliminate the problem. The Problem has occoured with other mounts,too! Regards René

Hi I´ve discussed this error with Tony some time ago, when i run into the same trouble. Don´t know if it is the Syntax or the Lenght of Names what cuase the error! Hi herman You can empty an entire ASW-Motar Magazine on a singel Mine without any result. BTW I´will not change any ASW-Weapon! Only MCM-Stuff Regards René

All ASW-Motars (their Amo) like RBU 1200 or hedgehog work with contakt or time fuze, mainly contact. so you have to hit an small object (mine) with an much smaller Objekt (the ASW Charge) with out seeing it. ASW-Weapon usefull against mines might be depth-charges for example, or nukes. An Asw Torpedo would not hit a mine cause a mine ist too small. Regards René

As long as the desinger did not use ASW-Weapons as MCM-Weapons, there will be no big change. For my MCMForce Scen i feel/see no change at all. The benefit for the game, we´re going near to the limits of the code and get as much realism as possible. Regards René

If you want to create a European Scen, maybe it is an good idea to try out my Euro_DB, because it still has a lot of space even for installations. Only 40% or so of the annex is in Use!

Hi, One Question about the way mines are modelt in the dbs. Most mines have a dp of 2 or less. Therefor it is posible to kill a mine with ASW-Weapons. DC for example. Herman models the mines in the PD for H3 with an Dp of 15000. Why not go the same way in HC? I created a test db in wich i changed the dp for mines to 999 and the dp for MCM-Weapons to 999. So a Player needs a lot of ASW-Weapons to kill a mine. And with my MCMforce Scen there´s a nice scen to test this new minemodell in HCE Any comments? Ideas? Regards René
