Database Design & Discussion

Hello, I have another question. At aircraft entry, we have a slot called ECM. Is it compatible with ECM pod. For example, if we have a 10% ECM slot and a ALQ-131 ECM pod with 20%... Do we get a total of 30% ECM (10%+20%)? This is different if we have two ECM pods (20%*2=40%) that we know we can't have.

I've a problem with the new DB, when i import it, even with a fresh new install, in the PE editor REV.2003.16b5, it prompt an error "Execution error 3061, not parameters enough, 1 waited". When in chosse "end" ("FIn" in french version), it seems to freeze (waited 35 minutes). What is it and what can i do to resolve it? Thx

After 25+ years at last this dawn casually understood the presence and significance of sensor 43410, AS/SS capable but with a range of only 0.1 nm, and present in Western and Eastern air defense systems!!! it must be simply an "Anti Radar Missile - Decoy", very good idea but for years very intriguing for me!

So the general idea as I understand it, is the America's database will allow the ships and the air assets to be fully described for the North, South- and Central American countries. And some of the other 'interested parties' such as UK, Russia, probably China. Is that correct? Is there a way to write a scenario for the new battleset maps like Caribbean, and use the HCDA database, and keep the database and the scenario associated. Or will anybody that wants to run the scenario going to have to swap in the database files like what was described on the HCDA thread? To make people do the manual file swap, it can be done but not very convenient. I have not yet download…

Hi, there´s a new db out for HCG2004. It is focused on GIUK/Atlantique Ocean/Mediteranean. IOPG is also supported but only very limited and it is not sure that this theater will be supported in the future. It is a regional DB for the period from around 1975-2005. This is in the weapons database. I found that on all of them while going through the DB today. Is there a reason behind this? Checked Malafon, ASROC w/MK46, etc. Curious as to if this affects whether they work or not. Might explain why mine never seem to hit anything. LOL
