  2. If you have a firewall, either software on your comps or hardware ( a router for example), you have to create a virtual server to allow the server to use the port 14342 to send data through it to clients. btw, you have to use the local IP of your comp, not the one provided by your ISP. cheers, Jan
  3. Note that Turkish are using the word "terrorists" when they are talking about PKK, a word carefully avoided by the Turkic's "allies". I wonder how many Turkish casualties need the Coalition to react.
  4. hello guys, as far as i know, if a classification would have been possible, there would be more whale still alive in the South Atlantic cheers, Jan

  10. Hello guys, some food for thoughts about the Phoenix vs agile targets. in 8 years of aerial war, around 76 AIM-54 were fired by Iranian Tomcats and about 65 hits were scored. Most of their confirmed victims being MiG-23 (13), MiG-25 (12), Mirage F.1 (10), MiG-21 (9), Tu-22 (5), MiG-27 (2), Super Entendard (1). ( Source: Air Combat Information Group - Arabian Peninsula & Persian Gulf Database ) I wonder if the shot down pilots wouldn't have survived if they would have over estimated a bit more the Phoenix About the CW era air wing vs the 21st Century air wing debate, in my humble opinion, it would end in a draw, the lack of specialization of the today's air wing being compensated by the availability of the true force multipliers which are the more efficient avionic ( simply think about the Link 16 for example) and more advanced weapons. take care, Jan

  13. here is a series of request that combine to finally obtain a "Fuel Range check" sheet. One still have to export it it excel and create the formulas to calculate the fuel range and then compare it with the weapon's range but, well, at least all figures are centralized on one single sheet. QueryList_WeaponEngine SELECT t2Weapon.ID, t2Weapon.Name, t2Weapon.Designation, t2Weapon.MaxLaunchRange, t2WeaponEngines.ItemID FROM t2Weapon INNER JOIN t2WeaponEngines ON t2Weapon.ID = t2WeaponEngines.ID; QueryList_WeaponEngine_CruiseSpeed SELECT QueryList_WeaponEngine.ID, QueryList_WeaponEngine.Name, QueryList_WeaponEngine.Designation, QueryList_WeaponEngine.MaxLaunchRange, t2PropulsionAltSpd.Speed FROM t2PropulsionAltSpd INNER JOIN QueryList_WeaponEngine ON t2PropulsionAltSpd.ID = QueryList_WeaponEngine.ItemID WHERE (((t2PropulsionAltSpd.Throttle)=2)); (Throttle 2 is cruise speed) QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel SELECT QueryList_WeaponEngine_CruiseSpeed.*, t2WeaponFuel.ItemID FROM t2WeaponFuel INNER JOIN QueryList_WeaponEngine_CruiseSpeed ON QueryList_WeaponEngine_CruiseSpeed.ID = t2WeaponFuel.ID; QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Capacity SELECT QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.ID, QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.Name, QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.Designation, QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.MaxLaunchRange, QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.Speed, t2Fuel.Capacity FROM t2Fuel INNER JOIN QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel ON QueryList_WeaponEngine_Speed_Fuel.ItemID = t2Fuel.ID; cheers, Jan
