View File Black Sea 2 This is a (properly uploaded) adaptation of Don's "Black Sea 1", with his permission. Victory conditions and RED OOB are unchanged. BLUE loses all the F-35's, and gains 8 aircraft, 2 tankers, and the TGC Anadolu, with a motley air wing of helicopters and drones. Unfortunately, modern Turkish drones are unavailable in this database. Be careful, the other guy has better airplanes. Submitter rainman Submitted 02/03/2026 Category MEDC

Hi all, I saw this article today and it spurred some interest: http://www.defensenews.com/story.php?i=626...c=SEA&s=TOP Combined with the news about the Varyag almost reaching completion and US talks about selling or updating Taiwan's F-16's, I think there are some cool possibilities for scenarios here. 1. Growing escalations have led to increased US deployment before crisis. A more balanced scenario with the US having 2 CVBGs, increased air power from Kadena and Andersen, and subs already in position in the Strait and near key Chinese strategic areas. Objective would be to eliminate Chinese air and missile bases. 2. Surprise. US CVBG is out of p…

I am thinking about a new scenario design, would it be realistic to assume that if the UK would be attacked would Canada, Aussies and New Zealand (being all LOYAL subjects of the Queen) be expected to join in the defense of the UK even if (mainly Austrailia and NZ) may noy not be directly treatened. 14. AAR: The Backyard - Part Two: Final Shootout [spoiler Alert] A Harpoon Classic Commander’s Edition scenario by Ralf Koelbach The Cold War finally went hot and furious battles arose all around the world. This Westpac scenario deals with a final US multi-carrier attack supported by Japanese forces in the Western Pacific. The US forces have neutralized all but one Soviet bases in the theatre. Now it is time to finish the job. But beware: The Soviets have reinforced their last bastion to the utmost. CAG Mills had fought a pretty good war up until now. I played the scenario from the BLUE side using GE Build 2009.076 and the HCDB database. Scenario Background Orders I am in charge of two surface groups, one centred on the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and the other on the amphibious assault ship USS America. The De Gaulle has a good number of Rafales aboard, while the America has only a handful of F-35B Joint Strike Fighters and US/Spanish Harrier II Plus types. Each group has a decent number of escorts and support vessels, and plen…

World War III, a scenario for Harpoon Classic Gold, for Westpac, by Fred Galano After Action Report (AAR) by Brad Leyte When Fred told us that he was working on a scenario for Westpac that would resemble in some respects his previous scenario, "Med War" (for the EC2003 MEDC battleset), I was keyed up to try it. Med War had been a challenging and action packed scenario, and of course, I expected to see the same in a new Westpac scenario. It would be a immense understatement if I said my expectations were fulfilled. In point of fact, they weren't "fulfilled"; they were "overwhelmed". Firstly, a word of caution. World War III is not a scenario for the faint of heart…

  19. 21st new scenario of the year! The Java Sea Incident – WestPac. It is the early 1990s and Indonesia has become increasingly hostile towards its international neighbors. In the last six months, there have been several incidents in the region, including the sinking of a fishing boat the Indonesians claimed refused to stop when challenged by one of its frigates. Three weeks ago, two Singaporean A-4s were shot down when they strayed into Indonesian airspace. A large shipment of arms is on its way from Russia to Jakarta. Singapore and Australia are increasingly concerned about Indonesia and its long term plans for the region and have decided that this shipmen…

Friends, In the past, I've focused on convoys and CVBGs in my scenarios, but I'm trying to figure out how to create more varied scenarios that are also realistic. At this point, I've reached the limits of my knowledge and I need your help! I apologize for any ignorance on my part, but I simply don't know the answers to these questions, and that's why I'm asking. I imagine in some cases it's simply "these were the ships in the area at the time," and this is what I've been doing for a lot of scenarios, but assuming there was time to put the ideal (or at least preferred) SAG or Phibron/amphibious group together, what's it going to look like? For exampl…
