Howdy folks! jeffteacher23 here. I read RSR way back when and stumbled onto Harpoon v3 paper game about 1989 or so. I really like to run/referee a game between different players, As soon as v5 drops I plan on getting a copy and learning it. Then I'll need some players. I'm in Mainland China just north of HK, so it will probably be slow going until action is joined, then it will have to be on a weekend for the resolution via zoom and email for privileged communications. Any interest? I hope so!

Here's something new to me, if you use your mouse wheel it changes the selected group or unit (if you're in the group or unit window) up and down (north and south I guess). I suppose I don't use the mouse for lots of stuff so maybe every one knows this but it was a hoot when I saw it.

It's been a very long time since I have played and my two old windows xp/7 laptops died so I had to buy a new copy to play, I bought it yesterday and was surprised to see it was good with Windows 10 / 11, how does one use the scenario editor though? Back in the day I used to like to make my own but it won't open now..... hoping it's not going to be a hard solution. Any input / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I bought the software and spent six hours playing - glad on on travel so my gal wasn't around! I'm hooked again! Playing the EC2000 Battle for the Norwegian Sea scenario Nordic Light and so far I have shot down 12 Tornado - somehow. Only info I have is that they have been shot down in the Message Log - no other info. What is going on? Assuming they are getting shot down by my assets, shouldn't I at least have some info on it happening? Puzzled, Akmatov

How does the climb rate value for an aircraft work? Also, I noticed that the climb rates for some aircraft are markedly more than the others. i.e. F-22, Eurofighter, Cheetah C. Is this a mistake?

Hi I recently upgraded from Win XP to Win 7. I got the scenario editor working in the virtual XP machine and everything seems to be working OK. However, in the game the small Strategic map is missing. I have resized and moved all the other windows and clicked on the strategic map in the pull down menu. I don't use it much, but on occasion it is handy. Any ideas? I am using Build 2009.036. Thx, Smitty

I have been playing the EC2003 Battle, Wrath for the IOPG now for nearly a week; I think I am on the 5th or 6th attempt. I am struggling to understand what I have to do to win. I have to launch maximum effort strikes against terrorist bases (ZZa, ZYa ZXa) Destroy C31 system as a prime target (ZVb) suppress air defense activity around Bandar Abbas (Ztb, ZOb) My first problem is that there is no ZZa, only a ZZb. Even if I destroy all the bases (assuming ZZa is really ZZb) and am in the process of attacking Ztb and ZOb, the loss of 12 planes triggers the enemy minimum win conditions. Is this a Kobayashi Maru, no win situation?

Hello, I have a new idea for a new tool. There could be a limit to the number of radar guided missiles an aircraft can manage. The limit could be adjusted to 1, 2, 3 or whatever you like. This is a limit like the targets a ships can manage. When a radar guided missiles activates its terminal guide then the aircraft can launch another missile again. This is the same for laser guidance missiles. IR missiles like Sidewinder or Alamo B/C can be launched the number you want up to the limit.

Dear friends: After years I have reinstalled the HUE. But since I have another operating system, Windows 7 64, I am running into some problems. One of them, in HUCE, is the Staff officer window. I can't see all the information and I don't have access to the options it offered you. I've tried changing the desktop resolution, but nothing. It is the only defect that I find, the rest seems to be going well. Is there any solution? Sorry if this doesn't go here. Thanks.
