cdnice55 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 A question. Is the CF188 in the database the original tech or with the updated tech for the current modernization? Quote
CV32 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Yes, the version currently found in the HCDB is the updated aircraft. (Sorry for the delayed reply). Would you like to see the original variant in the DB ? Quote
Akula Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Noticed this when creating a scenario the other day... Any unit that has the same name as another unit in the game won't have all its units available if you used one already. This is particularly true of the sam systems with names such as 'sam site 01', etc This is particularly troublesome when trying to use a sam system that has only 12 named units listed, and you've already used all 12 names with other sam types. Suggestion: Can we have a larger list of SAM generic names, or possibly rename them so that each sam system has its own unique naming forumula such as SA-2 01, etc? Quote
CV32 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 This can be a problem when you need to add a lot of SAM systems to a scenario. What I have been meaning to do is simply increase the number of available units for each type of SAM system. Quote
TonyE Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 I'm trying to base some B-52 bombers at U-Tapao airbase in Thailand and finding the runway size isn't large enough. Is this something that might be changed? Quote

Is this something that might be changed? Yup. Just checked it and runway length is apparently 11,500 ft, long enough to qualify it for Vlarge. Consider it fixed. Thanks. Quote

Herman Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Perhaps there should be a new category of surface combatant? The "UnDead" class? They could communicate through Jennifer Love Hewitt of the Ghost Whisperer. Quote

CV32 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 Thanks for the suggestions, eclipse. Some good ones there that I will need to look into. As far as the Alpha Jets are concerned, unless the Portuguese aircraft differ significantly from others, I'd suggest you look at and use the Alpha Jet entry listed as one of the International (INTL) platforms.
