I was suspecting an Israeli radar because the not mention of the radar.

Clearly yes, Elta EL/M-2055, as I have finded (with the smatphone!) In:

  • Enrique, if you would be so kind, can you post a list of the carriers where you think capacity needs to be adjusted, and some authority for the requested change. (And, as you know, HCCW has its own th

Another idea of easy execution, OV-10 Bronco variants, employing the same current loadouts of the type but adding flavour to the DB ;) (and the exotic operation of the USMC Broncos from the amphibious ships  ):

OV-10A Bronco (USAF, 1968-1991): 157 aircraft for the USAF, as the current OV-10F (Indonesia, entry 10528).

OV-10A Bronco (USMC, 1968-1989): 114 aircraft as the OV-10A for the USMC, but operable from LPH and LHA ships. Other 18 USMC aircraft operated by the USN and transferred after Vietnam again to the USMC.

OV-10C Bronco (1971-2004): as the OV-10A but without AIM-9 capability, 32 aircraft operated by Thailand (and 6 more transferred on 1977 to replace loses), survivors donated to Phillipines.

OV-10D Bronco NOS (1980-1989): derivative of the YOV-10D Vietnam experience, 18 units converted for the USMC. Adds more powerful engines, higher ceiling, FLIR in lengthened nose, chaff and flare decoys (ALE-29?, ALE-39?), IR suppressed exhaust and underwing drop tanks (But deleting the AIM-9 carriage capability in the new pylons). Operable from LPH and LHA.

OV-10D Plus SLEP (1990-1994): 42 OV-10A and 15 OV-10D converted for the USMC, with the improved engines of the Y/OV-10D, higher ceiling, AAS-37 FLIR in lenghtened nose, chaff and flare decoys (ALE-39), IR suppressed exhaust, underwing drop tanks (Reinstating the AIM-9 carriage capability), and adding ALQ-144 IRCM and RWR (APR-39, later AAR-47 after Desert Storm). Operable from LPH and LHA.

OV-10E (1976+): as the OV-10A. 16 aircraft for Venezuela. 18 OV-10A more transferred from the USAF in 1991. Survivors converted in OV-10A/E SLEP with four blades propellers (from 2009) and AAQ-22 Safire FLIR in lengthened nose.

http://www.fav-club.com/index.php?option=c...n&Itemid=18

OV-10A (1992+): 24 aircraft for Philippines from the US stocks. Later added 9 more, and other 8 more OV-10C donated by Thailand in 2003-2004. Survivors converted in OV-10A SLEP with four blades propellers.

OV-10A (1981, Morocco): 6 aircraft transferred from the USMC and employed against the Polisario guerilla. Two remaining. Pretended purchase of a grand total of 24 aircraft prevented after the loss of two planes of the first batch of 6.

Are you suggesting that those ships be made STOL capable?

I think they were STOL capable previously and we only need the carrier capable flag in the Bronco! (Yes, I see now her runway is VTOL only)

Only very recently I've discovered that capability of the Bronco and amphibious ships. In some places I've read the Bronco can only take-off but not landing in the ships, but I think it's untrue.

Some references:

http://navysite.de/ships/lha4.htm

http://www.uscarriers.net/lha4history.htm

http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=VO8BAdZ...ips&f=false

And I finded a reference about a complement of 4xOV-10 in some assault ships on the chaotic http://gonavy.jp site, but I dont find now the reference !

Alternatively we can made VTOL the USMC variants of OV-10 to avoid see other types on the deck of the amphibious ships ...

I think I will want to do some testing and experimentation before installing ship capable Broncos in the DB. Others are, of course, invited to test (or comment upon) the utility of the idea as well.

Ok, Brad, thanks. The OV-10 amphibious-ship capable is not a priority and I've not in mind any scenario with it, it's only a rarity I finded reading about the OV-10 when I saw it was very easy to make a lot of variants with only two loadouts ;)

A pair or three aircrafts of very easy modelling keeping the previous loadouts, basically for more flavour on the plane types:

A-7E (1970-1991): it’s now in the DB, but include the HARM added from 1986. Initially without FLIR, probably added only from 1986, perhaps we can add the HARM in the existent entry and create another older variant without FLIR neither HARM. 535 build.

A-7D (1970-1993): USAF and ANG land variant of the A-7 Corsair II. As the A-7E but without FLIR (FLIR added only from 1986). 459 build.

A-7K (1981-1993): two-seat ANG land variant of the A-7 Corsair II. As the A-7E, also with FLIR, but some 10 knots top speed slower. 30 build.

Minor error:

The merchant ship Ferry (Ro-Ro) (entry 2657) is VicType “Combat Medium”, I think she should be "cargo".

Another pair of aircrafts of very easy modelling keeping the previous loadouts, basically for more flavour on the plane types:

F-4C Phantom II (1964-1989): very similar to F-4B, we can use almost the same loadouts.

APQ-100 radar, AS/SS, range 50, PH=50 (my own estimates).

AIM-9B/P Sidewinder.

AIM-7D/E Sparrow III.

SUU-16 20mm Gatling cannon in defective underfuselage pod with 1200 rounds from April 1967, later replaced by the improved SUU-23/A.

AGM-12C Bullpup B.

GBU-10A/B Paveway I.

ALE-29/39.

ALQ-71/87/101 (ALQ-71 from October 1966. ALQ-87 at least from November 1967).

1xMk28 or B43 Nuke.

All that equipment can be reduced in the post-1980 time period to AIM-9P Sidewinder, AIM-7E Sparrow III, SUU-23, GBU-10A/B (the latest AGM-12C Bullpup was retired in the earlier 1980s), ALE-39, ALQ-101 and B43 Nuke.

Also the F-4C is all-weather capable, IFR, RWR (from near 1967), IRST.

On the Vietnam War from April 1966.

583 build. 36 employed by Spain (1971-1989).

F-4D Phantom II (1966-1989): very similar to F-4B, we can use almost the same loadouts.

APQ-109 radar, AS/SS, range 55, PH=50 (my own estimates).

AIM-4D Falcon (1967-1968).

AIM-9B Sidewinder

AIM-9E Sidewinder (from 1967)

AIM-9J Sidewinder from summer 1972, later AIM-9P/N (at least from 1984), and later AIM-9L/M.

AIM-7E Sparrow III, later AIM-7E2 Sparrow III(at least from February 1972), and later AIM-7E3 Sparrow III.

BOLT-117/GBU-1 Paveway I (1968).

SUU-23/A 20mm gun at least from October 1967.

ALE-29/39.

ALQ-87 at least from November 1967. Also ALQ-71/72, later ALQ-101/119/131.

AGM-12B/C/E Bullpup.

AGM-45A/B Shrike.

AGM-65A/B Maverick.

AGM-62A Walleye I from August 1967.

GBU-8/B Hobos from 1969 (with Mk84).

GBU-9 (with M118 used in Vietnam).

GBU-10A/B Paveway I.

1xB28/B43 Nuke or 3xB57/B61 Nuke.

All that equipment can be reduced in the post-1980 time period to AIM-9L Sidewinder, AIM-7E2 Sparrow III, SUU-23, GBU-10A/B (latest AGM-12C Bullpup was retired in the earlier 1980s), AGM-45B Shrike, AGM-62A Walleye I, AGM-65B Maverick, ALE-39, ALQ-131, and B57 Nuke.

Also the F-4D is All-weather capable, IFR, RWR (from near 1968).

793 for USAF. 32 new-built for Iran from 1968. 92 for South Korea from 1969 ex-USAF. From May 1967 at Vietnam.

Not as easy to implement as one might think, because of small nuances between the loadouts, but I will try and overhaul existing entries to accommodate the new variants to some extent.

I will pass on the A-7K as it was principally used for training, IIRC. But it might find its way into the HCDA.

Now at last some of the structurated and more interesting requests (the A-7 and F-4 request were only temporary disgressions :P ), based on the current annexes, and White Ensign and High Tide, personal research and my old Harpoon Gold DB (I think the DB was initially frozen near 1991, Brad's tremendous effort has introduced a lot of later platforms, but for the 1980-2015 time period we need some older platform deleted before 1990. Regretably the loadout limit is a problem, but we can live with it and add more sea plaforms ... ;) ):

Post modified 17 September 2015, because some "new" old Jane's and an e-mail interchange in the Admiral Trilogy Group (thanks for your very interesting comments and info, MM) motivated me to revise the data. Sonar 2020 was in active service only from 1985 and almost sure never employed in Valiant and Churchill classes, both sub-classes employing Sonar 2001 as main hull sonar from start to end of career.

Also Sonar 197 was a passive ranging/intercept sonar (perhaps an UK version of the French DUUG-1), replaced near 1985 by Sonar 2019 PARIS passive (some source. as Chris Chant, says active/passive, but I doubt it very much) longer range ranging/intercept sonar, an UK version of the French DUUG-1.

Boats to include Sovereign, Superb, Sceptre, Splendid.
Equipped with slow pump jet, 10 knots creep speed.
Anaechoic tiles.
(This is the 6190 original entry, represents this time period sensors 1979-1983, but not the weapons, the weapons are 1997-2004. I support to determined the time period as 1997-2004, keep the weapons and change the sensors to later types)
