Those of you who enjoyed my Command After Action Reports... and those of you thought they were completely awful... are in luck, so to speak. I'm going to do be doing some of these in my own inimitable style (he says) for Command. The plan is going to be to write them in Google Docs and post the link here, so you get them all in one glorious place. The first report will be ready when it's ready.

I have the following Harpoon games loaded on my computer: Command Wargame of the Year Edition Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare Harpoon 3 ANW v394 Harpoon 3 Ultimate Advanced Naval Warfare Harpoon 3 v3.6.3 HUCE I'm hoping for scenario recommendations for the period covering the 1980's and the present time dealing with US vs Soviet/Russia or US vs China thank you Dennis USN 1963-1966

I just bought CMO, moving up from Harpoon Classic 97. I installed it, and my computer fans run hot even without a scenario loaded. What would be the best way to set up CMO to reduce the load on my computer? I don't care about graphics or video speed, etc. I would rather have the hardware just handle the background tasks. And if I need to minimize those as well, then so be it. I will be upgrading my computer in the next few months, but I want to get started before that. Thanks for your input, and looking forward to this new endeavour.

I'm in a bit of a quandary as to whether to buy this game or not. Whilst the price doesn't really put me off I have read in comment threads that modifications to the database are explicitly denied in the licence agreement. If this is the case then it puts me off, frankly trying out different aircraft combinations on the CVF's or different types of MPAs in future scenarios would be half the fun.... Would it not be possible to add a separate section to the ( still immutable ) database for user defined what-ifs?

I think I might be ready to venture into scenario building for CMANO. One of probably many questions... How do you create an air mission that is tied to a surface group? Say, for example, an ASW helo patrol ahead of (and continuing with) its host ship?

Hi Folks, Well - I only recently started messing around with Harpoon seriously - so I might as well be considered a newb... At the same time - I've also been watching many of the video's of Command with great interest... How's the AI in Command relative to Harpoon - is it substantially better ? Most of my experience playing Harpoon is USA vs USSR... It seems the USSR OPFOR - the bombers seldom seem to make any intelligent decisions... They just fly their programmed strike - even when detected - pounced on by fighters - or - even have their ranks decimated by Phoenix missles... They just don't seem to react to anything... Would the Command AI act any differently ??? …

Hello, I am making my first scenario for CMANO and I have got a problem. When creating an airbase, I add the runway, the hangar and the runway access point. But my planes are always taking and don't take off. What is missing?
