The SE crashes with the Euro and the 60-79db! Simply load a Verion of the db and open the SE. It will crash start after a short dealy with a general protection fault. Version of the SE 2007.000 DB Version, tested with every Version beginning with the first one uploaded in 2006..... Initially reported by DonQ... Regards René

I've noticed that screen animation of group movement stops at any level above 1 Min. The game still seems to progress at the higher levels, and the game clock runs, but at the higher levels, all symbol movement freezes, and then the symbology will jump if compression level is changed, either up or down. I'm also still getting the world famous "Not Responding" when using the mouse at any level above 5 Min., although keyboard commands are not affected. Buddha

HCE - 2008.049 ============== - Chg:B037 GE Show Aircraft nuke loadouts in platform display even if release hasn't been granted. Don't show nuke loadouts in Active Unit Display until nuke release is granted. As in previous builds, don't allow player to load a plane with nukes until nuclear release is granted. Strictly speaking, this does not belong in this thread, because it is not a refueling issue, although it arises as a consequence of a refueling situation. In EC2000 Battle for the Norwegian Sea 1 (Big Fish), you need to fly some EH 101 Merlin helicopters from Kinloss, Scotland to some friendly ships just S of Iceland, refuel there, and then assault some US ships NW of Iceland. I posted this earlier to the AGSI forum in response to a question, and thought it might do some good here as well. Apparently, there is a conflict between the Help system used by Harpoon (and numerous other programs too) and Windows Vista. If anyone running Vista is unable to access the Help System in Harpoon, MS has a fix located here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/info.as...isplayLang%3den Again, this isn't a Harpoon problem, but a Vista problem, like so many others. Please take the attached program for a spin. It is to gauge performance showing units on a new unit map view. Report back with your findings. A good measure may be how many units you can have in a 5 deg by 5 deg box and still have it be useable at low zoom levels. You can unzip the files pretty much anywhere, it need not be in your HCE directory. This is so far a totally independent test rig. All I'm looking for is your thoughts and feelings about the performance; no need to report quirks at this juncture. The z and x keys should zoom the map in and out if the map has the focus. HCE - 2009.018 ============== - Chg:0000 GE Made a new critical hit distribution table for mobile land units. In other words, you should no longer see land units with flooding. - Chg:B084 GE ASW helicopters want to (errantly)close after firing last torpedo. The fix isn't ideal but it does address the issue. Now after that last torpedo is fired there is no prompt. If the player cancels the attack, the prompt will appear since the game thinks the target is actually North another 8nm.
