Help system under Vista

Featured Replies

I posted this earlier to the AGSI forum in response to a question, and thought it might do some good here as well. Apparently, there is a conflict between the Help system used by Harpoon (and numerous other programs too) and Windows Vista. If anyone running Vista is unable to access the Help System in Harpoon, MS has a fix located here:

Again, this isn't a Harpoon problem, but a Vista problem, like so many others.

Well, not technically a problem. The help system in question has security holes that Microsoft did not deem reasonable to fix so it wasn't included in Vista. Hehe, I posted it too

Actually, I tend to view Vista as a problem. Since I got this Vista system, my printer will suddenly print letters in black OK, but envelopes always come out green. It's a wonder anything runs.

Vista is one of the early tools used by SkyNet to slowly pacify the human race into accepting software that does not obey human commands.

Those pesky "Black Helicopters" again Brad? :D

They've shelved the black helos, probably in response to my improved MANPADS capability. ;)

Now they're trying more insidious methods, like the computer AI gone mad.

(I watched the movie Colossus: The Forbin Project yesterday ... :P )
