Hi, new HCE player here,trying to learn the sim slowly but surely and i have a question about formation rings. Can their display be turned off in the group window? They obscure the unit icons of themselves and surrounding units. I ask because I've seen them "turned off" in YouTube tutorials. Currently using latest patch (2015.027) with the latest beta (HC2018.002GESEDBDUBSSB and HC2020.003GESE) and latest DB (HCDB2-170909). Thanks

I have been playing the EC2003 Battle, Wrath for the IOPG now for nearly a week; I think I am on the 5th or 6th attempt. I am struggling to understand what I have to do to win. I have to launch maximum effort strikes against terrorist bases (ZZa, ZYa ZXa) Destroy C31 system as a prime target (ZVb) suppress air defense activity around Bandar Abbas (Ztb, ZOb) My first problem is that there is no ZZa, only a ZZb. Even if I destroy all the bases (assuming ZZa is really ZZb) and am in the process of attacking Ztb and ZOb, the loss of 12 planes triggers the enemy minimum win conditions. Is this a Kobayashi Maru, no win situation?

What debug option will show a message when my own missiles and/or torpedoes run out of fuel and go away?

Is it just me or did the forum's flash editor loose a feature recently, like since April? I'm pretty certain that earlier in reply posts I was able to split quoted text into separate paragraphs just by hitting enter on an empty row inside the quote. E.g. Now all I can do (if I want to reply in a nice formatted way) is copy the entire quote as many times as many comments I want to inject and delete the surplus parts of the quote from each segment. Squawk 7700 !

Short question: do Official Strategy Guides come with any Harpoon releases? Or I need to catch them separately?

Editing a new scenario with the new SE, apparently everything OK. But I'm not sure about the scenario size limit, it's keep at circa 64 Kb?

Hi first post. I had the urge to try HCE again after a long hiatus so logged into my Matrix account and download the two files (install & patch) but there seems to be a file size error in the downloaded files. I have the orginal HCE cd but I dont have a cdrom drive in a pc near me. Have I done something wrong?

Just purchased it again and thought I'd say Hello! Have it installed and just familiarizing myself again with the game and its changes. One question - Do I need to install the updates listed for the game or are they included in the new purchase install package? Hey everyone. I just bought Harpoon Ultimate Edition, and I'm loving it so far. A few questions: 1) How do I set waypoints for aircraft that involve orders? For example, move to waypoint 1, turn on radar, move to waypoint 2, etc. 2) I've also noticed that my E-3 AWACS have a huge lag time in responding to orders; I haven't noticed this with other aircraft. It can make for some dicey situations, especially in Keflavik scenarios. 3) How can I set patrol patterns for ASW aircraft? Are the ECM jammers cumulative? For example, we can have a Su-27 Flanker with two SPS-170 ECM jammers of +10 DATA each one. If we arm a Flanker with two SPS-170 can we get a total DATA of 10+10=20?
