Hi all, As some of you know ive been moving home and have been settled in for a about 2 weeks now! British Telecom have managed to screw up the installation of the communications line to my apartment, so while I should have been able to order my broadband yesterday, that is not going to happen now until BT can sort out the mess they have made. Once ive ordered the broadband it should be another week or two before I get back online.... For labor day weekend the goal was to challenge the laws of physics and go from electricity + water -> combustibles -> surplus of mechanical energy + electricity. In other words, run an engine from water and end up with more electricity (via generator) than we put into the operation. Sadly we didn't accomplish that small feat but we did blow apart the choke mechanism on a 2-stroke engine when we fed in a bit too much of the combustibles . Unrelated specifically to the article, footage of the UN Security Council meeting and US UN Ambassador John Bolton's comments on the behaviour of the representative of the north Korean government was extremely interesting. Has anyone here tried the mini rules Shipwreck. They are a "highly" abstracted set of modern naval rules.

I recently submitted an article found in a recent copy of Proceedings. The USNI website has many articles posted, but it seems to require membership to access them Is it worthwhile to post these articles if not many people can access them? Or is it ok to post copies of website content when there are such restrictions in place. It the active readers of this site are members, the point is mute.
