Requests for the HCDB (Official DB of HCE) and HCDB2

Featured Replies

I will be adding NOE (nap of the earth, i.e. capable of Vlow flight) and IFR (in flight refueling capable) notations to the aircraft descriptions.

Don also brought my attention to an error in the Il-38 May loiter speed. Thanks Don.

A revamped entry for the Chinese carrier Shi Lang will also appear, and if folks feel up to offering help, I'm game for modeling the J-15 Flying Shark.

If anyone has other requests, please let me know here.

Now we have the Sea Harrier FRS.1, thanks you very much, but I beg the old version of the CVH Invincible with Sea Dart SAM and less point defence ...

About it, thinking in how resolve the issue of failure in the Scenario Editor making WWIII scenarios greater than 64 Kb ...

About the Chinese stuff, ok, I don't say nothing because about very recent Chinese material I've not more data than the Internet data ...

  • Enrique, if you would be so kind, can you post a list of the carriers where you think capacity needs to be adjusted, and some authority for the requested change. (And, as you know, HCCW has its own th

Nag, nag, nag. :P Okay, I'll add 1982 and 1983 flavours of the HMS Invincible.

Thanks, I've some ideas about scenarios ...

More difficult is the Alvin, NR-1 and similar submarine uses, but I will think on it ...

Just yesterday I read something about WWI, the first British naval action was to cut and re-release to the sea the transatlantic cables exiting from Cuxhaven with a cable ship in the first hours of the war: as result, the German colonies and embassies isolated for the rest of the war. That's strategic thinking

With the new version uploaded today, I am a little more than half way through this bit of work. Should be complete in the next iteration.

IIRC there are no F-104Gs on the DB ;)

Amendment to my request, a German F-104G, with the Kormoran missile. ;) and a Danish J35 without medium range air to air missiles and with iron bombs.

Pleaaase... ;)

Seriously, thank you for your continuing effort.

I'll accommodate these, and toss in the RF35 reconnaissance variant of the Draken, but folks need to stay cognizant of the fact that we are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the Loadouts annex. (I know I sound like a broken record on this, but its true).

There had better be a scenario for us coming out of this!:P

I promise... and you also need them for the Cold War Database... ;)

just sayin' :P

I think the Italians also used the Kormoran, can anyone confirm?

Check the Italian Tornado IDS in EC2003 ... ;)

A very simple tip, other option usable for answer similar questions:

- Open the platform editor.

- Go to the interested entry (in this case, Weapons>A.S. 34 Kormoran missile).

- Click over the downhead arrow in the deployable menu in the Status bar.

- And now we can see in a new window on Access the A.S. 34 is installed in the loadouts 55335 (employed by the Tornado IDS IT-MLU, we can also see) and 55373 (employed by the Tornado IDS IT-MLU and the Tornado IDS IT-MLU).

Anyone have a decent source on the armament layout (ESSM and RAM) for the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78)?

May 10: This information is elusive, it seems?

As they are plenty of ship entries and after the bin Laden scenario experience, I think we can add some targets for UAVs and Special Forces, as SUVs or individual terrorists (and stop to shoot at poor unharmful downed pilots ;) ), and some civilians/neutrals to add fog of war.

Can you be more specific?

Writing from the smartphone with difficult:

- individual terrorrist, similar to downed pilots, not necesarily armed.

- neutral civilians, similar to downed pilots, unarmed, to mix and discriminate between the terrorists or other targets.

- SUV and/or similar civilian vehicles, to simulate usual targets of UAVs (SUV Carriyng terrorists)

I know that we've already ventured to some degree into this scale of warfare, what with the individually modeled armored vehicles and UAVs and such, but do we need to model 'individuals'?

I'm not necessarily against the concept, but I would like to hear more input. On the game map the target will still appear as a truck or tank, so do we need to go any further than we already have? We can already represent neutrals of the same type.

It's only for sake of game flavour, specialle for new harpgamers not so religious like us, I know the game outcome will be the same. ;)
