    Hello, have been out for a while. Now I´m back and working on scens. I have a problem with the Orders Write V.2008.0.2.1 It looks like it simply doesn´t create the orders files. No error messages, but there are no files. Any clue? Regards, Ralf

    First of 2 bugs found in SE. This one causes the orders menus to become disabled in SE if you clear a course in course editor after issuing attack commands. Repeatable: Always 1. Create a new scenario with a blue base and a red surface or sub group. 2. Activate the group and choose orders > enter course. 3. Enter 1 or 2 legs of the course, then click F1 to bring up the attack menu. 4. Order the group to attack the blue base. 5. Clear the course and close the course order editor, at this point all orders menus will be greyed out and unselectable, even with hot keys.     Version .025 - Scenario Editor Error: 1. Create a group and a path with more than 1 waypoint and the 2. Orders2/alternate path and create an alternate path at a waypoint (and give it more than 1 waypoint too) and give it say 65% probability and click OK 3. Select the 65% alternate path entered and click edit 4. Orders2/alternate path and create an alternate path at one of the waypoints and give it say 33% probability. When you click OK to the 33% alternate path you'll then get window asking you to click OK/cancel for the linked prior 65% alternate path (created in #2 above). When you click OK or cancel you'll get an error window and crash to desk top.

    I'm use 2010.001 GE. Attached is a test scenario and database necessary to run the scenario. Scenario: Blue (Bainbridge) will launch 8 SSM's (Harpoon IC) at a Red test platform armed with 2x127mm/38 Mk28 mounts (1 bearing Port and 1 bearing Starboard). We're testing: 1. How many shots will Red's mounts fire 2. Which of Red's mounts (if not all) will engage *** Note: I purposely changed the min/max altitude for the Harpoon IC's to LOW/LOW to put them in the engagement envelope of the 127mm/38's.     We've had a couple of situations now where Victory Conditions have a ship/sub subtype that is not even in the scenario. I need someone to take charge of the situation and tinker with a database to see what effect changing the subtypes has on scenarios already created with the database. General suggested procedure: Make a scenario, use both type and subtype in various VCs, note the type/subtypes you used in which VCs. Modify the database by editing the lVictoryType table for VCs in your scenario. Modify the database by editing the lPlatformSubTypes table for VCs in your scenario.   9. This scenario, 'Worst Case Scenario', is for play by BLUE in the Westpac Battleset. This is a "monster scenario", depicting a war between Russia/China/DPRK vs USA/Japan/ROK/Vietnam across multiple fronts in the Western Pacific. It has over 1,700 aircraft, nearly 50 bases and nearly 100 ships in play. It is PC memory intensive, and labour intensive.     Try 2 at the guns only working at their database limited altitude bands. Same tests as 2007.020 1. Test AAA guns in pre-EC2003 battlesets 2. Test AAA guns in EC2003, test for altitude Also you'll see in the zip file a DLL file that wants to go in a directory called ExportDLLs. When you have appropriate DLLs in that folder they will be sent information from the game (to be documented eventually). I'm hoping you can test somewhat with the DLL in place but it will slow the game down and will make a pretty large file datadump.txt in your HC directory so once you get sick of it, rename the dll to datadump1.dll.bak.     Okay, with all of the change verification going on we're very close to sending our next patch off to Matrix. While we haven't included a lot of things I'd like to have in this patch, we have done quite a lot and what feedback we've had says to release the patch and move on to the next big set of changes.     HCE - 2008.057 ============== - Chg:0000 SE In all previous SE releases when a LR air attack/ferry/patrol was deleted, any repeat event associated with that event was not deleted. In other words until this build it was impossible to fully delete a Long Range air event. The repeat events now show in the orders display for the launching platform.     Since upgrading to .042, I have been unable to run the BS Builder. On the rare occasions that I can get past "Not Responding", I get the attached error message. Also, a shortcut named "DelRes" suddenly appeared in the Harpoon menu group. I'm not sure what that does. Any suggestions, anyone? Buddha
