    HCE - 2008.021 ============== - Chg:0000 GE Updated credits - Chg:0000 GE Made range rings into range ellipses (see WestPac). - Chg:0000 BB Allow the user to continue working after trying to make a BattleSet with illegal lat/lon (thanks Akula) Brad tested the scenario converter and it worked fine in his attempts. You'll find the range rings sometimes distort (usually with really large ranges), that's just the way it will be for now. 2008.021 has been passed on to AGSI for submission to Matrix for public testing.

    Well, going thru the posts this has been a pretty poor 3 month period for activity on the beta testing front. Lucky for you I did this preliminary review tonight so those of you needing to contribute more still have two weeks to do so.     The focus of 2007.011 was fixing the attack type dialog where you choose Missile, Torpedo, or Guns attack. Please Test: 1. Make sure the dialog is consistent for you. a. i.e. Missile attack doesn't include torps, torp attack doesn't include missiles, etc. 2. Make sure ASROC type weapons work (torps in missiles) a. From player side b. From AI side 3. Make sure Subs can attack ships (from player and AI sides) a. With missiles b. With torpedoes 4.     I just DL'd ansd installed 2008.021, and when I load the game the old opening sequence seems to be gone. By that I mean, I'm not presented with any Battleset or Scenario menus, it just goes straight to a scenario, seemingly at random. To load a specific Battleset/Scenario, read the Orders, etc. it is necessary to allow the random scenario to load and then select File - New from the pulldown menu. At this point I can select a Battleset, Scenario, read the Orders and select game options. Hardly a disaster by any means, but a little inconvemient. Buddha

    It would be helpful to add the name of the battleset used in the test scenario as part of the general information. I don't have the suffix letters memorized and it would be easier than scrolling through the battlesets to find which it belongs to.

    Suddenly, whenever I try to run any scenarios from any of the EC2003 or WestPac BS's, I get the attached error before the game can load. The SE doesn't seem to be effected at all, nor do any of the other BS's. Any advice anyone? Thanx: Buddha

    Thread for things that are wrong enough in 2008.021 that they need to get fixed ASAP. Add you own thoughts please, and only things you think have to be done before the patch reaches the masses: Must Fix: Crash - Open HDSK 9.0 select group AGS, go into Formation Editor, click on the Burke Flight II, game crashes, buffer overflow. Found by CV32; Fixed in 2008.023 Questionable if need to fix: Each sound only plays once per session due to big huge sound files. Fixed in 2008.023 EC2000 battlesets always show IOPG mini-map in battleset selection screen.

    I have been working away on the icons since the gift of 2008.037 and I intend to release a mod for the playerbase based on this when the next full patch is released to them. This is ongoing work at the moment and I would appreciate any feedback on how you think they look, and whether they screw up at all for you! Also allowed the displayed information to be longer/complete. - Chg:0000 GE The Red Victory graphic for EC2003+ will now be the same as the pre-EC2003 one (Kirov over a map of Europe+Asia) instead of a US carrier and US flag... - Chg:0000 GE Sized the sound files to be smaller so that they play as they should. So, sounds should now work and play more than once if needed.

    HCE - 2009.039 ============== - Chg:0000 GE Fixed a crash bug in EC2000 MEDC 11.0 upon load (it was trying to load an invalid aircraft loadout). if you can load the scenario from each Red and Blue sides and run it for 5 seconds of game time in each case, you can report this as verified.
