http://admiraltytrilogy.com/llbond.html "Everyone at ATG is saddened by the death of one of its designers, John Gresham, who passed away on July 2nd after a long illness. He was 58. John was co-author of Supermarina, Volumes I and II with Mike Markowitz. Over the more than twenty years he worked with ATG, he contributed six articles to the Naval SITREP, and provided assistance to the authors of many more. He was generous with his time, sharing information and research materials with colleagues. His most recent piece was an update on the Littoral Combat Ship program, which appeared in issue 49 (Oct 2015)." John was an active Harpooner and contributed to the work …

Great work, Tony! Glad to see that you and all the staff here are still working for harpoon and try to make it better! But, personally speaking, I wish the ANW could also be updated, to fix the bugs and add more new features if possible. PS. I saw there are some players who play CMANO request the programmers to modify the game so that it can be connected with STK, just like Harpoon Pro(or Harpoon MilSim). What do you think?

So you've created a game, update, database, utility, scenario, and would like the world to experience your great work-product... You post it to HarpGamer.com and wait for the accolades and glowing usage reports to come in but instead you hear absolutely nothing. Soon you would settle for a bit of harsh criticism but nothing appears. Welcome to the world of Harpoon! In many ways your initial work-product was the easy part since it was effort you enjoy. At this point it is time to don your latent "Marketing Genius" hat. My intent is to make a number of posts laying out potential ways to increase uptake of your work and maybe even grow a following that publicly par…

I expect that this will go up at AJJE Games over the next couple of days, so I had better advertise it now. Covert-81 combines three of the areas at I have a great interest in- RPing, espionage and the Cold War, in the form of a play-by-post RPG. The year is 1981. Détente is in ruins after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. With the SS-20 missile deployment in the Western USSR and the planned NATO counter-deployments, a new, seemingly hard-line US president and a rapidly arming USSR, it seems that nuclear war is closer than ever. Behind the summits and the rhetoric, shadowy operations are going on. Two black-ops organisations, one on each side of the East-Wes…
