Well this forum seems to be more busy then over at Matrix so let me post this here too: This scen is already playable... there needed to be some minor changes, but I guess it is now too big and the scen editor crashes regulary. But the version I have now (better 2 version, 1 more "heavy" and Red has more stuff) is playable very good on the 2 systems I tested them on (older PCs so newer ones should have no prob at all). I downloded HC's new BattleSets I can find bases in scenario editor for Middle East (including the Red Sea and the eastern Mediterranean) However I can't find bases, in the scenario editor for : Caribbean Basin South Atlantic South Africa The base list seems to have some "generics" like Lrage Airfield, medium Airfield etc. Which I would rhink would allow me to place them in any Battleset. Can you folks advise me what to do. Without bases the new Battlests leave a lot to be desired. Thanks. PS what does this mena? Hello, I have a scenario I have been writing for about 2 years. I recently moved and can't find the box with my computer with HUCE installed. HINT: When the moving company boasts about how much "we care!", they really don't. The 'script' for the scenario is on a different computer. Shhh, don't tell my boss it is the one at work. Was there an AAR on IOPG 8.0 Regional Power? This is Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia against India in the Bay of Bengal. Warning...some spoilers.... I tried this out a few times and have failed every time. Usually not utter and embarrassing failure, but failure nonetheless. I have figured out one way to kill the ammo depot. I launch my F-4s at once, fly them in Very Low and can usually blast the depot and get the hell out of dodge before the SAMs kill me. Around this time, I've started to shuttle a fair number of aircraft to Naha. And, around this time, a large number of Red aircraft are on their way to Japan, mostly trying to kill one of my SAGs. Since mines are a relatively new addition to the game I thought I'd ask if anyone has pointers on setting up a believable and effective water/land mine field. Mostly for water, but here are the Qs. What is the best depth to place them at? How many would make a decent field? How far apart should I place them? In my few experiments with them, I almost always end up getting them into what I consider far to large an area. This could just be my perception however.

While looking at another issue it has become apparent that in a situation where a group has more than one unit that is capable of catering for aircraft, aircraft units launching from the group might have their home base changed for no apparent benefit during group split and join operations resulting in the unit RTB to a different base unit from where it tool off. Is this good/bad indifferent?
