  3. Do many people play or write a lot of WWII scenarios? In pacific ocean theatre naval and naval air actions were extremely important. Also I like how there is so little electronics, radar and the like, it's very seat of the pants stuff.

  4. Socrates, Socrates Hemlock View File This is a modernization of the original GIUK scenario "Attack on the Bastion." Blue's job is to neutralize the boomers, but in order to do that, it may be necessary to negate the surface playing field. Socrates Hemlock is a slightly easier version of the modification. Red's job is to protect the Silent Swords of the Rodina. There is a real, but small chance Marko Ramius may make an appearance. Also, Red's job includes negating Blue's airbase. Though Red lacks any bombers, I think you should be able to think of something . Purrastroika, 22 Jan. 2022 …

Hutchenson HDSIII NACV penultimate, "Air Force 1," except this time the scene is the Med, and The Comrades are on the run. Blue is tasked with...well...blowing stuff up, akin to Red's orders in the aformentioned scenario. Red's task is to survive...and blow stuff up. Specifically, capital cities. Operation Veiled Temple is a retrospective version of Persona, using older platforms whenever they could be sensibly interjected. Easter Egg Warning: One of the possible target…

  7. Operation Plumbob II - Swineriot View File A slightly complex Study scenario designed less to be won than for data and player playstyle analysis. I've attempted to incorporate every single surface/land atomic weapon possible via the use of land, sea, and air platforms. There are some hopefully helpful prompts before Nuclear Release is granted. It's meant to be played as Blue Only, has a time limit of eight hours. The target names correlate to the distance from projected Ground Zero, so make sure you aim your aircraft for Kaliningrad's hypocenter. Finally, it really isn't fun, unless you like blowing stuff up …

  8. I'm fairly sure the AI used to change enemy landed aircraft's loadouts on occasions in response to perceived threats/attack opportunities. Does this still happen does any one know. I'm trying an idea of reinforcing front line bases with aircraft part way thru a scenario but they seem to just sit in the new bases and not get used and I'm working on how to rectify this. Don

  11. In my naval reading list I have now arrived at the fiction section with Michael DiMercurios books. I've just started Voyage of the Devilfish where a rogue admiral sends 120 SSNs to a position they can attack with cruise missiles. (I have not finished the book, so the idea is just based on the start). This inspired me to try to recreate this scenario with EC2003 Battle for the Atlantic Ocean. The idea was to start out a big blob of SSNs from the Norwegian Sea (Barents seems to be off the map) Have them all transit trough the GIUK gap, north and south of Iceland at high speed to several attack positions off the US east coast and then order them to attack vital targets…

The skirmish along the Russian-Ukrainian border in early 2022 served as reminder that the pandemic was not the only concern. The European Union, exiting the pandemic more divided than ever before, was too weak to keep its cohesion, losing Finland and Sweden in 2023 and Romania in 2024. Norway, Sweden and Finland formed the Northern Block in late 2022, while Romania aligned itself with the Russian-friendly Ukrainian government. Hello, I am testing an user scenario called Operation Gauntlet. I have some questions. First, what is the difference between fighter, attack and bomber for the AI. AI have 24 attack F-16AM with a initial loadout of intercept duty. When AEW detect my red fleet some attack planes reload their loadout and attack my ships instead of continue with the intercept loadout. Why? I think this is based on the type of aircraft. I suppose that AI uses its planes depending on the type: fighters always fights against aircraft and bombers fights against ships or bases. Attack planes fights with both: planes and ships or bases. Am I correct? I suppose that fighters don't change their…
