I've been kicking these ideas around since about 2016. I have been adding details as world events inspire my creativity. Today made me think it was time to do something. Unfortunately my real life is too chaotic to devote the necessary time to creating these scenarios. So I am offering them to anyone who wants. Here are the first four ideas for scenarios. Can anyone help? Maybe just by telling me if these ideas are workable. Thanks in Advance p.s. please forgive my (often) incoherent note style Brexit: The War of English Secession A campaign battle-set with 16 scenarios to be played in sequential order. Incidents and Acc…

File Name: Supporting Argentina 1982 File Submitter: broncepulido File Submitted: 28 Oct 2011 File Category: Caribbean Basin Supporting Argentina, 2 Juny 1982. Another simple and introductory scenario ... or perhaps not, anytime with a lot of things to do. Note: In this scenario, to avoid spoilers, it is better to play the US/UK/NL/Blue side a few times, and only after play the Soviet/South American/Red side. On 1982 it was a lot of speculation about the possibility of a Soviet Union attack against the Western Forces, because the compromise of the British Forces in the South Atlantic War. Argentina has invoked the Rio Treaty of 1947 and some Latin America…

For today this is just a place holder mostly, but if any of you have any ideas on Vietnam era historical and a historical missions i'd love to hear about them! I've been meaning to get onto this for a while, as I always thought there were too few Vietnam era missions, and the one or two I found were brilliant. I plan to make around 5 historic scenarios, but will extensively research each one, with the help of you guys I hope Also I plan for some 'fun' A-Historic missions, which will be entirely of my own design! For this week I will be researching in main the weapons systems used in the US Advisory Vietnam War era - '63-'65 Notes for research(any ideas for …

The idea should be the employ of "secret" airfields in Pacific islands against some Chinese force: https://seapowermagazine.org/marines-establish-refueling-point-in-indo-pacific/

AAR: Roman Thunder [spoiler Alert] I always enjoy scenarios that involve Algeria. I'm not sure why. Maybe it’s the country's tumultuous and ever-changing relationship with the West; or the French colonial heritage; or the sinister nature of the bloody internal conflict that Algeria has seen because of militant Islamic groups; or maybe it's simply because the regional geography (North Africa and Europe being separated by a relatively narrow portion of the Mediterranean) makes for a great Harpoon scenario. In any event, I was pleased to see Mark's latest scenario threw Algeria into the mix. I enjoyed this scenario thoroughly. The warning in the Orders about bein…

After Action Report: Operation Lancette NOTE: Usual spoilers follow. Play the scenario yourself before reading further Given the scenario - a peacetime exercise - I decided to employ a strict ROE. With a large contingent of Atlantique maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft based with Flotille 21F at Nimes-Garons, I could afford to set up a sizeable anti-submarine patrol in the area south of Toulon. Four such aircraft were directed to conduct formation patrols in the area, two in the zone extending to 120 nm, and two more at the 180 nm distance, in order to sanitize the intended path of the carrier group. Alouette, Lynx and Alize aircraft were…

Maybe it's simple, in fact probably! I downloaded the back yard part two - found 3 files zipped. Was unsure where to put these. I looked for files of the same type already in my HCE folders but did not see any. So - where do I drop the 3 files once they are unzipped?

File Name: F-94C Starfire in Korea File Submitter: broncepulido File Submitted: 15 May 2010 File Category: WestPac This was in the begining a test scenario to test unguided air-to-air rockets, basically in the F-94C Starfire, and his effectiveness (I was very dubtious about the capability in the game of a unguided rocket to hit in a flying airplane). And I'm not detected crashes in this scenario, at least for now. But now I think it can be very simple introductory scenario to Harpoon HCE, mostly for old time interception and worth of release it, with the flavour of the early 1950s. The situation report is very simple, your're at the command of the 39th Fighter In…

File Name: Thunder Dragon meets the Gold Eagle File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 7 Apr 2007 File Category: WestPac Thunder Dragon meets the Gold Eagle One of the most significant obstacles to a forced reunification between the PRC and the Republic of China (ROC, commonly referred to as Taiwan) is the US Navy. The presence of a US Navy carrier strike group in the vicinity would pose a very serious danger to PRC military action. Does the PRC possess the capability to neutralize the threat ? Try it and see for yourself. Released September 2005. Click here to download this file

A Harpoon Commander's Edition scenario for the Middle East Battleset and the HCCW-120614 Cold War Platform Database. This scenario is designed for play by the Israeli/Blue or the Egyptian/Red side, but it's a historical and very unbalanced scenario. During the summer of 1975, on the Mecklenburg's coastline, a sport boat w/ 4 persons aboard managed to make its way free to the high sea, thanks to the cover of dusk, escaping security forces from the GBK in the process. Despite DDR's efforts, the sport boat managed to get to BGS's patrol boat. The East Germans asked to be brought onboard, as they wanted to go to the West. One hour later, 2 GBK rushed after the Duderstadt and tried to stop her. However, the BGS patrol boat managed to escape, aided by already being in international waters near west Germany. http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/d...do=file&id=1091 Regards René

117 new Harpoon scenarios to enjoy! David Ennis has kindly decided to share his private collection of vintage Harpoon Classic scenarios with the Harpoon community. All 117 of these scenarios have never before been publicly available. David is the 15th designer to post his scenarios. This makes a total of 123 scenarios released this year and we aren't even out of January, yet! This must be a record for the greatest number of scenarios published in a single day. Congratulations and thanks to David for sharing his work. Comments and suggestions are encouraged by the author. These scenarios are made with the older Harpoon Classic 97 version, but play jus…

In the past month or so, we've had more than a half dozen great new scenarios for HCE. Check em out! These come from a couple of the community's more prolific scenario writers, Enrique Mas and Patrick Howard, and we're fortunate and happy that they're sharing their work with the rest of us. Bravo and thanks, guys. [Enrique, thanks for making use of the 'new' Middle East battleset for your latest scenarios. Much appreciated!]
