I've played Harpoon for years, but am new to HUCE and the orders Writer. How do I save orders for a scenario that I am designing?

I've played Harpoon for years, but am new to HUCE and the orders Writer. How do I save orders for a scenario that I am designing?

Hi Greg ---

 

It's actually quite simple:

-open the Order Writer

-click File|Open. This brings up your game directory.

-select the scenario you are working on, and click 'Open'.

-you should now be in the Order Writer again, with the 'Scenario Background' tab selected.

-write the scenario background, which is available to both sides in the game. It will show up as the first part of the orders for each side.

-select the 'Blue Orders' tab, and write the orders for the Blue side. This will show up in the game as the second part of the orders for the Blue side.

-select the 'Red Orders' tab, and write the orders for the Red side. This will show up in the game as the second part of the orders for the Red side.

-click File|Save.

-this pops up a box telling you you have saved the orders. Click 'Okay.'

-click File|Exit.

And that's it!
