I'm currently watching a series on Military History about the Perisher Course. You know, the RN submarine command one. Very interesting - it's the first time cameras have been allowed in 30 years. There's been a couple of sub-on-sub battles, including Triumph (the sub they're using) vs. Ula and Triumph vs. Turbulent.

Anyone else try this title? Picked it up yesterday, and went through a couple of tutorials.

I tried not to post, I really did but now it is too late! My sister and her husband got me the Naval Institute Combat Fleets 15th Edition tome and it is truly a work of art. The best present was certainly spending time with family (and extra time with my 93 year old grandfather). But for pure shock and awe it was the book. It sat on my lap wrapped for at least a half an hour while the nephews and grandpa tore through presents before it dawned on me. I think my sister caught the look on my face as I finally put 2 and 2 together (very heavy present, solid, yet not a box, oh my gosh, it can't be!). Just don't see this very often in our small city. Apparently it was picked up at a Boeing plant in Arizona and was headed to Boeing in Seattle for testing before making a pit stop here in Redding CA. What does Boeing have to do with the B1B? Neat anyway.
