Incapable to Import HCDB2 170714 in the Platform editor. See attached screen photo files for details, mainly about "Depurate".

 

(In case it can be a hint, in the partially imported HCDB2 170714 I don't find now Argentina's "25 de Mayo" carrier variants, or Egyptian "Mistral").

I am able to reproduce this. To speed the investigation, what is the most recent version of HCDB2 that doesn't have this issue so that I can compare them?

Many thanks, that one also works fine for me here. I'm suspecting that the commondb.res from Brad is corrupt as it is missing the first 150 ship entries including the Egyptian Mistrals so when the PE tries to match up their names later in the import, there are no associated ships. I just asked Brad for his pfData file to further troubleshoot.

Seems that was the case, corrupt commondb.res, not sure why but that's what happened.

Two near future important frigate types, the Japanese one now sailing, the UK one (Type 26 City-class Glasgow) laid-down near 20 July 2017.

 

Type 25DD Asahi-class:

Aircraft 8666 MiG-23M Flogger B 92 (Ukraine) lacks radar (should be 43138 High Lark (Sapfir-23).

Aircraft 8680 MiG-23PD Flogger G 88 (USSR) lacks radar (should be 40996 High Lark (Sapfir-23P).

British Phantom issues. Just 8755 Phantom FGR.2 84 has not Skyflash missiles, only AIM-7E Sparrow.

 

From my personal notes:

 

F-4K/FG.1 RN service (1968-1978): no gun pod carried when in service in RN. RWR added from 1973. Missiles in RN service were AIM-7E2 and AIM-9D, AIM-9G employed from circa 1970.

 

F-4K/FG.1 RAF service (1978-1990): Added gun and Skyflash, AIM-9L from 1988.

 

 

F-4M/FGR.2 RAF (1968-1992): SUU-23 gun pod seldom carried. RWR added from 1973. Initial missiles in RAF service were AIM-7E2 and AIM-9D, AIM-9G employed from circa 1970. Skyflash added from 1977 and AIM-9L from 1988.

Without enter in more details, very simple changes could improve it.

Basically replacing in loadout 56614 AIM-7E by Skyflash (and perhaps changing 8755 name to Phantom FGR.2 88), in other case older Phantom FGR.2 80 has Skyflash, but the more modern Phantom FGR.2 84 has not.

And perhaps in all the others with AIM-9D, replacing it by AIM-9G.

Perhaps to clarify two Chinese AOR entries:

 

#3063 Fuchi should be named something as Fuchi Type 903.

 

#3961 Type 903 should be named something as Fuchi II Type 903A (And added other four ships names in the class. This research was the result of identification of the Chinese AOR named "Luoma Lake" in news reports, at last was "Luomahu 964" of this same class).
