March 19, 201115 yr Reports via the BBC that two Tornado's have left RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland and also that two have landed at RAF Marham, possibly the same two but it seems that UK forces are now on the move.
March 19, 201115 yr I see BBC has good video and pictures of the MiG-23. And, oy, that was an awfully low altitude ejection. Including pics of EA-18G Growlers at Aviano, apparently. That's awfully far away from the action. Canadian CF-18s passed through Prestwick last night enroute to Trapani airbase in Italy.

The submarines are fitted with Tomahawk missiles, which are effective against aircraft." Tomahawks effective against aircraft? Where do these people get their information!

Apparently calling this Operation Odyssey Dawn (at least from the US perspective), with the Tomahawks targeted against air defense sites around Tripoli, Misratah and Sirte.
