  4. Thanks to Brad we've now almost the complete South African OOB, and we can add easily the rival forces, basically centred in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_Border_War Other sources: Military Balance 1982-1983 and 1983-1984, and some of the Aerofax/Ian Allan/Midland/Red Star series of books. Angola: Su-27S: eight planes, from 2000. MiG-23ML: some 80 from 1984, mostly Cuban and Cuban-piloted. Some sources talks about 20xMiG-23MS, but probably never used by Cuba neither by Angola. Some 20xMiG-23BN, probably after 1989. MiG-21MF: also mostly of Cuban origin and piloted, as the rest of MiG-21 variants: 12 from 1976 and 12 more in 1980, for a grand total of some 80. 5. Some minor errors: Entry 11325 C-212A Aviocar has not RCS. Entry 11347 Shackleton MR.3 is not in-flight refuelling capable, and is erroneoulys flagged as capable. Entry 11358 Lynx AH.7(TOW) flagged erroneously as aircraft. Entry 11366 Super Lynx Mk110 has a ATA of 130!!!
  6. Another idea (but we need for it at least a new loadout ... ): Moroccan Mirage F1EM VI /Mirage F1 MF 2000: 27 upgraded planes for Morocco, IOC 2011?. RDY-3 (Ex- EC 400) radar: 108 nm range, LDSD/SS, PH=60. Intercept: 2xMagic 2+2xMica IR/EM+ventral drop tank. Precis: 2xMagic 2+2/4xAASM+ventral drop tank. Also employed: PAJ-FA ECM pod, new RWR, at least some with IFR, Damocles laser designator pod, INS with GPS/Laser gyroscope. Some sources: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showt...-Videos)/page54 http://archivomirage.blogspot.com.es/2009/...resenta-el.html http://www.arabianaerospace.aero/mirage-up...hter-force.html http://forum.keypublishing.com/archive/ind...hp?t-71685.html http://www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=gCBPs5Kya5Y&page=1 (mention of the verosimil 200 Km radar range).
  7. Great minds think alike. I had already added these for the next iteration but keep em coming! Curiously none of the last ideas have any direct relation with the subjet of my main research the last days (I hope I will post it late in the day or tomorrow) neither with the scenarios I'm dreaming ...
  8. Another downgraded early fighter variant: Rafale M (F1) (2001-2008?): nine planes for the French Navy. MICA EM (1997) and R.550 Magic 2 (Mk2???)but not MICA IR (2003). Only dumb bombs, if any. Tanker capable. IOC 2001, full OC 2004. Probably only RWR without ESM. RBE2 (interim) radar, only with LDSD capability, not SS (Range=84?, PH=65?). http://www.ffaa.net/aircraft/rafale/caracteristiques.htm http://www.ffaa.net/aircraft/rafale/images/rafale-0132.jpg
  9. In a similar way, an earlier Tornado F.3 ADV (1986?-2001) without AMRAAM neither SRAAM, employing only the loadouts 55835 and 56200.
  10. Another idea: The earlier MiG-21F-13, employed by Finland 1963-1986 and by at least other Third World countries into the 1990s.
  11. Inaceptable politics aside, the nazis have a clear aestetical appeal and a recent very funny side: nazi zombies, nazi paranormal agents against Hellboy or Captain America ... Now, begining the view of Iron Sky, I saw a new nazi title, the bad girl has the rank of "Mondjugendunterfuhrerin" !!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Sky
  12. I see she's not present in the HCDB, they are only two ship classes for Latvia, and none is a SWATH type ship ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small-waterplane-area_twin_hull
  13. Another idea of only relative interest: BAC Strikemaster, light training and attack aircraft, exported to Commonwealth and Middle East countries. Some used in angry. We can make a generic INTL entry for elude more research about years and users ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BAC_Strikemaster http://www.warbirdalley.com/strike.htm
  14. More ideas: An initial version of the F-15A/C (1976-1990) without AIM-120. Of very easy execution employing only the 55420 and 56190 loadouts.
  15. Ever in the 100 times or so more simple HCDB, the research of a new plane or ship type can employ a week of research about the concrete type and variants ...
  16. Japanese site (in simulated/automatic translator English!) with details of the Kawasaki P-1 (radar, sonobuoy processor, illustrated with 8xASM-1E, etc ... Is the only site where I've finded the approximative wing area), and some notes of humour with the P-1 speculative variants painted in RAF or Japanese 1942 styles: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/ysf_p1_eng.html The text says the HPS-106 is very similar to the modelled APY-10. Other Japanese projects: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/yspack_eng.html Including details about rare Japanese weapons, as modern deep charges: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/ysf_weapons_eng.html
  17. Ok, thanks, I get the idea, but I left the Harpoon 2 DB editing some 12 years ago, I was maddening with all those logaritmic calculus, I was testing Hispano-American 1898 warships when I saw the game engine was inoperative, and the old DB editor crashed continously ...
  18. HCF files? (this question is in the case I can help with something ...). I don't play usually ANW or Harpoon 3, but I admire you great efforts in the DB Gunny, Thanks!
  19. I'm sorry, but at last I was a lot busy all the days ... perhaps the next time. Most of seminars are free, requesting only previous booking or similar (You have lost the exposition of my paper about Malvinas/Falklands ).
  20. Yes, I've read recently this same article, but I think for AIM-9B they are meaning AIM-9F ...
  21. I'm on travel with a few spare time, but after download the splendid Cold War DB I see the version downloads is 120315, not the updated 120518
  22. Thanks for the clear explanations. Also, I think the AIM-9E was never exported.
  23. broncepulido posted a topic in Shore Leave
I will be this week in Madrid at http://iugm.es/actividades/congresos-y-jor...s-de-seguridad/ if someone is here, keep in touch ...
