There is a generic installation under the 'Intl' (international) entries that is modeled like a SAM site, i.e. it won't show on the map unless and until detected. They will help the enemy better localize your assets if the latter are emitting.

Some general observations and advice, from playing your latest series of scenarios: * Player controlled assets tend to be numerous and capable, i.e. the player has plenty of firepower, perhaps too much (keep in mind that the sim does not limit sortie rates or disposable weapons inventories) * Exploit the most challenging elements that might be under AI control, e.g. submarines, minefields, unknown airfields, ELINT stations, better AAM envelopes, ballistic missiles, etc * Complicate the battlefield, e.g. add neutrals (especially subsurface, or those in close contact), reduce player controlled recon or AEW&C assets, force use of tankers to reach vital targets, etc

Sometimes scenario authors will produce a draft version of their scenario for limited circulation, or with only portions of the final version completed. Releasing the full scenario is also fine, especially if players will offer an after action report that the author can use to make improvements or changes. The most obvious drawbacks being (1) few players actually take the time to write an AAR, and (2) once you've played through the scenario, its unlikely that any new version (unless completely overhauled) will offer the same challenge.
