In the last HCDB I see the code snap up/down fixed to the missiles Fajr-5 and Zelzal 2. For years I was thinking the snap up/down code was for air-to-air missiles, and also ineffective in PC game terms. Now I see it related with, I suppose, a capability of ballistic/near vertical attack. The questions are: At what capability is related the code "snap up/down" ? Is really effective in PC game terms ? Thanks.

Greetings, Is there any chance the naval inventories of smaller forces can be added to the HUCE database? These forces would help to fleshout the South America, Sub-Saharan Africa and the smaller forces in the GUIK and WestPac battlesets. Adding these smaller units would make generating a broader range of scenarios possible. If numbers and names need to be plugged into an Excel spreadsheet to be incorporated into the DB, send me a template of the Excel workbook and I'b be more than happy to plug int the numbers and text to help the community in developing a better gaming experience. Best regards!

As important as updated avionics are in the age of modern warfare, the centerpiece of the Tu-22M3M upgrade package is the inclusion of up to three new Kh-32 missiles. https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/meet-russias-new-tu-22m3m-bomber-nasty-surprise-us-navy-61252 View full record

Japanese site (in simulated/automatic translator English!) with details of the Kawasaki P-1 (radar, sonobuoy processor, illustrated with 8xASM-1E, etc ... Is the only site where I've finded the approximative wing area), and some notes of humour with the P-1 speculative variants painted in RAF or Japanese 1942 styles: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/ysf_p1_eng.html The text says the HPS-106 is very similar to the modelled APY-10. Other Japanese projects: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/yspack_eng.html Including details about rare Japanese weapons, as modern deep charges: http://www.heinkel.jp/yspack/ysf_weapons_eng.html

Variant Israeli Dolphin submarine...there are rumors she can carry nuclear-tipped land attack cruise missiles. Why not include a version that does? https://harpgamer.com/harpforum/hc_platform_requests/submarines/?do=form&d=2 View full record

Ethiopia's Petya IIs (F 1616 and F 1617) and Turyas (HTB 112 and HTB 113). The Mols and the Osa IIs are already there. The classes for these vessels are already in the database; you just need to add the ships. (And the moment I thought of this I came up with a scenario idea...Ethiopia vs. Yemen!) View full record

Libya's Foxtrot submarines (active in 1990...you can probably just add units to the Export Foxtrot class; names are Al Badr, Al Fateh, Al Ahad, Al Mitraqa, Al Khyber, and Al Hunain) https://harpgamer.com/harpforum/hc_platform_requests/submarines/?do=form&d=2 View full record

After 25+ years at last this dawn casually understood the presence and significance of sensor 43410, AS/SS capable but with a range of only 0.1 nm, and present in Western and Eastern air defense systems!!! it must be simply an "Anti Radar Missile - Decoy", very good idea but for years very intriguing for me!

File Name: HC_EURO_DB File Submitter: divefreak File Submitted: 10 Mar 2007 File Category: Databases EURO_DB is no longer focused on GIUK/Atlantique Ocean/Mediteranean only, it is now merged with the Atlantic DB and it covers the whole World except the Westpac Area due to Space Limitations (County Names). It is a worldwide DB for the period from around 1975-2008. The main difference is the changed philosophy for base structure. All long range weapons (SAM/SSM) will be removed from Harbours/Airbases. So a Scen-Writer has to add mobile Units to replace the SAMs with improved design posibilities. Fixed SAM will only provided by AD-Fixed existing in Reality or have e…

A curious article about air-to-air radar ranges. The author don't cites sources and it's a little outdated, but the numbers are very coherent: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~dheb/230...les/PG/PGSA.htm http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~dheb/2300/Admin/Index3.htm The article is game-related, but interesting.
