A hypothetical scenario that explores Japan making a surgical strike against North Korea's missile test center. This is not a leisurely task, as you have less than 24 game hours to complete the mission. The player should attempt to limit collateral damage, as the target is very specific. This is my first completed and released scenario, so feedback will be greatly appreciated.

File Name: Toreador (NWUN1) File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 7 Apr 2007 File Category: NACV Toreador (Part 1 of 7) Campaign 4 - The War with UBAN New World Order series EC2000 NACV battleset The aggression of UBAN in the Middle East and Persian Gulf regions, and more ominously, the open support for the UBAN exhibited by the NSC, has had widespread reverberations. When war broke out in the Persian Gulf, a NSC carrier battlegroup was on exercise off the coast of Morocco. Its operations in the Atlantic were apparently unscheduled, the group having already carried out the bulk of planned maneuvers in the Gulf of Sidra in August 1995. The nearest NATO group w…

File Name: MCMForceNorth File Submitter: divefreak File Submitted: 8 Sep 2007 File Category: GIUK MCMForceNorth In the Baltic, especally in the northeast and east, there are many mines and torpedos laid or fired in WWII which have not yet been cleared. After the cold war, a multi-national Force has been sent. MCMForceNorth is one of the NATO standing naval forces. You must clear 5 mines at a minimum and 10 for total victory. Do not forget that we are in peacetime so do not shoot down a red plane or ship! Also neutral forces should not be involved in MCM action. Perhaps there is still another small bad surprise! File Name: GIU3 File Submitter: Palex80 File Submitted: 02 Aug 2015 File Category: GIUK This is the third scenario in the series. PRELUDE: Following the victory of ECON against the US backed coup in the UK, the Labour party formed a government and the UK officially joined ECON. The most important result of the struggle over the UK happened elsewhere however. The Russian Kuznetsov carrier battle group came under attack by US aircraft in the North Sea. Whether the sinking of a Udaloy class destroyer by 3 Harpoon missiles fired by US F/A-18s was a mistake or deliberate action will never be known. The Putin-Merkel pact was signed the following day, forming a…

Hello, I am creating a new scenario and I have the next question? Does an aircraft flies longer if it flies higher? For example, I have an aircraft with... Low level, cruise speed: 300 knots. High level, cruise speed: 400 knots. Does it spend the same level of fuel flying at different speeds so it can flies longer flying at high level?

View File Drone Defense of Lima IMPORTANT This scenario is meant to be run with the accompanying file Drone.DLL installed in the harpoon ExportDLL (or ExportDLL\GE) folder and requires vers HC2025.006 or newer and database HCDB2. This library file edits certain platforms' data so as to simulate high speed surface drone swarm(5 Drones), high speed semi submerged drone swarm (5) and Malay CB90 attack boats. It also starts of one ship with damaged ssm mounts. The scenario is a demonstration of how recent changes to HUCE will allow an author writing scenarios for the Harpoon community to be able to customise platforms from simple aspects…

I thought I would post a few ‘teasers’ for upcoming scenarios of mine that will soon be available for download. Foxes in the Hen House (for Westpac) A pair of US Navy Skipjack class attack submarines have been directed to intercept three Soviet subs - a Hotel II SSBN, an Echo I SSGN and a November SSN - in the Strait of Tartary, before the Soviet boats can deploy to their patrol zones in the Western Pacific. Oubliette (for Westpac) With the war in Central Europe bogging down and the Soviets showing increasing signs of desperation, the Ohio class SSBN USS Tennessee (SSBN-734) has been given orders to proceed to a deterrent patrol station in the Sea of Okhot…

To anyone who tried my Falklands test scenario -- thank you and I do appreciate input. Thank you to CV32 who has updated the HCDA database to allow planes on the Atlantic Conveyor & its sister ship. I have just figured out how to simulate the Black Buck raids -- the bombing of Port Stanley from Ascension Island -- by using enough tankers and the split/join function to create groups where the tankers get refueled. With this we ought to be able to create a nice battleset of the '82 conflict. More to come.

Scenario: Iron Wolf Author: Brad Leyte (CV32) Battleset: EC2003 GIUK Database: HCDB Skill level: Intermediate Involved units: Full (Land\Sea\Air operations) Where can I get it? Here (Harpgamer) Review: First impressions: As I have come to expect from a Brad Leyte scenario, this one requires some good interpretation of the orders by the player and the ability of the player to devise their own plan, rather than working to already outlined goals. This I find to be quite enjoyable and most certainley a method of scenario creation which is very much like Brad's signature on the scenarios he writes. When I first opened the scenario I was presented with con…

AAR The Second Crimea War, HDS 1 Battleset, Med, Ukrainian side This is an interesting setup. written back in 1992, there was some prophecy in it. The Ukrainian Navy is much more powerful then it ever was was in reality, though. In this scenario Ukraine has a Kiev Class Carrier and a Kirov Class Battlecruiser. On we go. Shortly after scenario start my two AKI Okean recce vessels are sunk by missile attacks. Some of those missiles were Shipwreck SSMs. Thus coming from either an Oscar Class SSGN or some heavy cruiser. Other missiles were air launched, indicating that there are Fulcrums. Few minutes later: The first air-to-air engagement: I lose one Flanker due to a…

I am having a problem getting homemade scenarios to work. So last night I reinstalled HCE and copied the original-original .mdb and .res files for safe keeping. Went into PlatEdit-Import DB-and changed the AA denfenses for Kef-Red and added a blue airbase in Greenland (an overwrite) using the basic, provided DB - Export DB. All OK, I can pull up the saved data in PlatEdit and can create a scenorio with ScenEdit using the new bases. BUT I can not load it to play. I get this message "GetAnnex Error-ADDIDToList Error: expected a disk ID, got 0 (0x0). this message has been logged. The program will now terminate". HELP!
