File Name: Supporting Argentina 1982 File Submitter: broncepulido File Submitted: 28 Oct 2011 File Category: Caribbean Basin Supporting Argentina, 2 Juny 1982. Another simple and introductory scenario ... or perhaps not, anytime with a lot of things to do. Note: In this scenario, to avoid spoilers, it is better to play the US/UK/NL/Blue side a few times, and only after play the Soviet/South American/Red side. On 1982 it was a lot of speculation about the possibility of a Soviet Union attack against the Western Forces, because the compromise of the British Forces in the South Atlantic War. Argentina has invoked the Rio Treaty of 1947 and some Latin America…

File Name: Matrix Siege (remake) File Submitter: divefreak File Submitted: 1 Sep 2007 File Updated: 2 Sep 2007 File Category: GIUK This is a remake of the old GUIK II Scen Matrix Siege for GUIK and the latest HC_Euro_DB 1. BACKGROUND 1.1 What is a Brown Water Navy? Well, first of all, it's not a Blue Water Navy! Right now, the only real blue water navy is the US Navy. The Russians will have one again, soon. The British and the French have the makings for one. And the Indians want one. A blue water navy can use any of the oceans, any of the time, for as long as it wants; until, that is, it is challenged by another blue water navy. In short, the…

File Name: ECM-SEAD exercise File Submitter: donaldseadog File Submitted: 3 Mar 2011 File Updated: 3 Mar 2011 File Category: WestPac DB Used: HCDB-110225 Authors: Don Thomas Battleset-WPac: .scq - WPac - WestPac A small scenario concentrating on SEAD, ECM and bombing/ assault attacks with only minor distractions. Something of an introductory exercise. Use standard Database version HCDB-110225 (or newer) and Westac battleset. Most weapons are short range with no ARM for the player so close in work, ECM and planning are necessary. Also the scenario includes as the primary target a "Secret Base". Any comments on improving the usefulness of the "Orders" for i…

I am trying to build a user scenario using divefreak's Middle East Battleset. Unfortunately some of the bases are far from where they should be. Dubai is in the middle of the Gulf of Oman, for example, serveral hundred kilometres east of where it should be. Similarly, Abu Dhabi is not on the coast of the Persian Gulf, but in the middle of the peninsula. Is there some other data base that should be used with this Battleset ? Or is it possible to manually relocate a base ? Thank you.

Friends, In the past, I've focused on convoys and CVBGs in my scenarios, but I'm trying to figure out how to create more varied scenarios that are also realistic. At this point, I've reached the limits of my knowledge and I need your help! I apologize for any ignorance on my part, but I simply don't know the answers to these questions, and that's why I'm asking. I imagine in some cases it's simply "these were the ships in the area at the time," and this is what I've been doing for a lot of scenarios, but assuming there was time to put the ideal (or at least preferred) SAG or Phibron/amphibious group together, what's it going to look like? For exampl…

During the summer of 1975, on the Mecklenburg's coastline, a sport boat w/ 4 persons aboard managed to make its way free to the high sea, thanks to the cover of dusk, escaping security forces from the GBK in the process. Despite DDR's efforts, the sport boat managed to get to BGS's patrol boat. The East Germans asked to be brought onboard, as they wanted to go to the West. One hour later, 2 GBK rushed after the Duderstadt and tried to stop her. However, the BGS patrol boat managed to escape, aided by already being in international waters near west Germany. http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/d...do=file&id=1091 Regards René

When I open the GE and load the user scenario playing the Blue Side the Background and Blue orders are displayed. The scenario I created is supposed to be played by the Red side. When I open the GE and load the user scenario playing the Red side the Background and Red orders are not supplied. I have tried with the HC Launcher and without using the HC launcher. To look at the orders for this scenario you will need to import HCEEFDB-151115, which is included in the zip files. There is a word doc included with what the orders should be when the scenario opens in the GE. Has anyone had this issue. I tried another computer with the same results. Spratly Island Ord…
