    The following testers need to get some participation in by the end of the month to remain on the beta testing team for HCE. Gopher - You need 3 meaningful contributions Angle of Attack - You also need 3 meaningful contributions RA-5C - ditto Tasan - ditto Charlie - You confirmed half of the items from the 2008.045 release notes and made one additional meaningful contribution. That leaves the other items from 2008.045 release notes (BS Builder related iirc) and two additional meaningful contributions. I could even be convinced to accept 4 meaningful contributions as an alternative.

    Hi it looks as if the old Bug with the limited Units in the Shipannex is back. I had it now 2 times that the Se is crashing when i have more than 1075 to 1078 units in my Db. After reducing the number of units below 1075 the SE works fine. Regards René

    Hi all, I am looking at what I think is one of the toughest arty tasks to do with the graphics folder and that is the staff assistant! Not just because I cant draw people at all!! But because he is probably the most recognised face of Harpoon Classic. Everyone has a love hate relashionship with him.... So I give you some new surroundings for him! I personally like the new surroundings for him, im not likely to ever be able to replace the staff assistant himself (Because like I said I cant draw people), but if someone has any ideas I would be more than happy to pursue!     OK, seems like a single thread for these as they pop up will be best. Current Issues I've found: PT Shersen and PT Turya are currently armed with SET-53 torpedos, these are SUB only, my research shows they should be 53-65K torpedos. PT Huchuan currently also carries SET-53. This type should carry the YU-1.

    HCE - 2010.012 - 2010/11/23 =========================== + Chg:0000 GE AI should now do a better job of defending itself (fighters in formation should engage, etc.) (thanks Don Thomas) + Chg:0000 GE Nuke SAMs first attempt. They seem to work now but when more than one plane unit is in a group within range of the detonating SAM the game may crash. Give your SAM an AirPH and a SurfDP of the warhead to use.

    In the SE Pic Ids aove 510 (in the PE) lead to a blank Display and a crash when you open the ship with a pic id above 510 The limit for the GE is somewhere around 700-800, still trying to find the exact number

    I was playing a user scenario "Fight over Faslane" with the original NACV database when it crashed with a GetMemAnnex Error. I haven't seen anything like this since testing Harpoon 2002 Gold. Anyhow, the enclosed .zip has the saved game, autosave.hp2, which fortunately saved exactly at the crash point. Load it and run it and it will immediately crash. The ge.log and MessageLog are there too, as well as the actual scenario. Something else odd happened. An empty file called "ExportDLLs" appeared out of nowhere into the folder. That's here too.     Yes, I know I have been all but AWOL for a while, but we finally managed to fill all open positions at work. That means a great reduction in overtime, that is both good and bad...hated the extra hours, loved the money. . So the good news is that I can now start devoting time to HCE again. Going to get the game up and going with the latest updates this afternoon, and probably just set up a second computer with XP for the editor (take the easy way out). Should be seeing everyone in chat once again too.

    As you've probably noticed, Herman has started reporting bugs and strangeness and is reporting them very well with test saves/scenarios, steps to reproduce, etc. Is there someone who would be willing to confirm his reports and enter them into Mantis? The basic procedure as I see it: 1. Verify Herman's issue 2.     In all the scenarios for the EC2000 series of Battlesets, the Strategic window shows the IOPG area no matter what area the scenario is actually played in. The Group and Unit windows aren't affected and display correctly. Buddha
