I've seen an item or two today on the news about Gary Sinise going to the ME to entertain the troops. The man strikes me as the second coming of Bob Hope in this regard. In an age where celebrities like Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, and others can only seem to find time to bad-mouth our president and the troops he commands, I find this a refreshing change. I won't even get into my sentiments towards the Dixie Chicks. As a military veteran of Viet Nam, and a civilian on the ground for the first Gulf War, I salute Gary Sinise. Buddha

Early birthday presents! My friend and I came to these small helicopters thru different means, he saw them on sale while browsing the Internet deals sites, I saw one a week before when my young nephew was given a small RC helo. Well, my friend mentioned the little zingers and I retorted that I saw some where you try to shoot each other down! That bore the idea, his birthday is in November, mine in January, we could get a pair of these fighting copters (otherwise known as …

John was co-author of Supermarina, Volumes I and II with Mike Markowitz. Over the more than twenty years he worked with ATG, he contributed six articles to the Naval SITREP, and provided assistance to the authors of many more. He was generous with his time, sharing information and research materials with colleagues. His most recent piece was an update on the Littoral Combat Ship program, which appeared in issue 49 (Oct 2015)." John was an active Harpooner and contributed to the work …

Let me run this one by here and see if anyone has ideas. I have a network that is acting strangely. 1 station on the network is functioning fine, the rest not at all. Can't even get an IP assigned to them. It is DCHP type, so it should automatically assign the IPs to the stations. I've ruled out the main hub, as the working station is tied into that one. I've taken off solo stations and gone directly to the source (DSL) and still can't get an IP assigned. Naturally I've done the usual fixes, modem reboots etc. with no change in results. Anyone have any ideas on where to start looking for the problem?
