donaldseadog
I've had a problem using victory conditions requiring a kill of 25 aircraft of specific sub type (attack). I don't know if this is a bug or just me, any one seen this sort of thing? Any one think of something I might be doing wrong? If I reduce the number to 5 it works or if I change it to 25 aircraft (any type) it works.?? Don Thomas
broncepulido
I can expect any outcome in victory conditions in Harpoon, also if I write the simplest victory conditions (as kill 50 of ANY type of aircraft, in my latest test scenario to put some flavout in playing the test, I will send it you later). TonyE
I'm interested in taking a look if there is a nice little test-scen available
donaldseadog
I'm interested in taking a look if there is a nice little test-scen available There would have been, but it has probably been swept out the door. I'll do something (and retest) in due corse. Don
broncepulido
Hi Don, I'don read yesterday your post the test scenario was one of the test scenarios for fighters and dumb air-to-air rockets in the Korean Peninsula you have. Those with Tu-4 and Il-28 and assorted Soviet fighters coming from the north to annihalate the only blue base in the South. The latest iteration was that for testing the Genies. I don't remember very well the concrete scenario, all are basically the same with the same victory conditions, one write over the previous, but on it is based the "F-94C in Korea" scenario of http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?a...mp;showfile=555 Now, returning to my research for "true" MiG-21, diverted yesterday when I finded info about Soviet nukes ... donaldseadog
[This started in what is now archived but I can't find an upload window in the original (I suppose because it is in archive?)] Any way the problem relates to victory conditions using aircraft subtypes with multiple numbers of kills required. The attached has two scenarios, the vic conditions are slightly different, one requiring 4 kills of aircraft subtype ASW, the other 5 kills. these are minimum conditions. There are also kill 2 subtype EW (all are OR conditions) min condition. blue base has 25 ASW and 2 EW planes in formation, the ASW will get hit first by FA-18s. In the subtyp4 (requires 4 kills) scenario almost always (but not quite) red gets minimum vic once it has killed the ASWs. In subtyp5 (requires 5 kills) scenario blue gets away with loosing the 25 ASWs with out red getting vic, if blue moves the EWs to a vulnerable sector red will generally (but again not always) get the victory once the planes are downed. I advise playing at about 5 min to the sec time acceleration. HCDB 101022, GE versions 2010.006 and 2009.042 both tested same result. TonyE
Would you believe that when you kill planes it wasn't counting the individual planes, only each plane 'Unit'? Well it was, and no longer is in 2010.017.
